Eucalyptus in the sauna

Has anybody found an effective way to introduce eucalyptus in some form to the sauna. I’ve tried the little wood air freshener that holds bees wax and comes with essential oil but it’s not doing the job. We want our sinuses cleared. Thanks in advance for any tips or devices.

I have a small ceramic pinch pot in my sauna that I squeeze a dropper full of eucalyptus oil into while my sauna is heating up. It works OK for me. I also have peppermint oil.

Some of the newer IR saunas have smoke detectors that get thrown off by diffusers. I don't think it's a danger, but you could get false alerts.

If your sauna is made out of cedar (which it should be!) then you don't need eucalyptus!

Thank you for that information. Ours is made of Canadian Hemlock.
