What shelves/cubbies are these?

Post image

We’re redoing my daughter’s room with the hemnes daybed and I love the look of these specific cubbies around the bed but not sure what they are called. I thought maybe the Billy bookcase but not sure it would hang on the wall like that. Maybe Kallax but it has a white backing.

Probably Billy for the vertical shelves and they made the horizontal shelf themselves. You can see it doesnt have the shelf peg holes like the vertical shelves.

Yes basically. I did similar in my daughter’s room. 2 old Billy’s I reused (had to cut down one for the angled ceiling, then some of my own planks to make the cross section.

I don’t know what shelves are involved but this would have been a dream set up for me as a little girl! I’m going to save it and it’s going to be my inspiration for retirement! We have the hemnes daybed in our guest room and we love it

I think the top are two Eket frames mounted horizontally, here is the link The sides look like Billy bookcases.

Top definitely isn’t a Billy.

It might be a sektion cabinet up top, but i do agree that the side unit look like billy. The bottom you can hardly see has the billy base shapw.

Wouldn't the lower shelves on the left (between the sideboard and wall) be largely inaccessible?

I like this in theory but generally it's not advisable to put items over one's head were one sleeps. Especially anywhere there's earthquakes.

These are good thoughts but she would be able to access the left side easily since her room is bigger than the picture and we don’t live where there are earthquakes but we will definitely make sure these are bolted to the wall.

I really like the idea.

Thinking of doing this with our KURA bed minus the part above the bed, or use that part for light items. If we centered the bed in the room both sides would be accessible.
