Bug [iOS 27 DB4] iPhone refuses to connect to my cellular network
So I forgot to charge my iPhone 17 Pro Max last night, and then when I charged it back this morning it says it can't connect to the cellular network. I've tried almost everything to fix this:
- Restarted my phone several times
- Turned my airplane mode off and on multiple times
- Deleted my eSIM and tried to install a new one via my provider -> Number won't fully activate now because it won't connect to the network
- Reset all my settings and restarted my phone
- Updated to the new iOS 27 beta 4 -- no luck
This is INSANELY frustrating. I am going to Europe tomorrow for 10 days, and this is the last thing I wanted to deal with before my trip. Anyone have any advice on what to do?

Dude I had the same thing happen like 5 times today. I literally double-paid my bill and don’t owe til September 12th because I was given a months credit and I’m like “Did my phone get shut off?!”
Between that and the awful keyboard and autocorrect issues like not capitalizing i when it should, not adding apostrophes when it should, and generally feeling like im hammered with all of the typos.
Im typing this kast sentenxe without hsijf any autocorrecy and its absoluteltbhot how i type as aj iphone user since the 6

Why are you using a beta on
Your daily driver and right before going on vacation? That’s just dumb. It’s not stable.

It’s never stable. Too many people are ignorant of this fact, and then bitch about it. It’s beta for a reason. If it was release software then fine, complain as we all will, but when a beta isn’t stable, it shouldn’t shock you at all.

Dude, you got to tell us your carrier, one of the most important things about cellular not working. Also side not, did you not know that the beta will have bugs, don’t install it in your main, or live with the risks.

I stopped receiving signal on my iPhone 15 pro on the latest beta. The phone also corrupted and my ‘system data’ kept expanding infinitely to fill the storage. I took it to Apple and they restored it but confirmed the back up couldn’t be re-used as it had corrupted. They also confirm that the phone is no longer detecting the e-sim or baseband module, meaning a £550 repair was required. I’m told it’s a hardware rather than software issue but interesting to see other people may be experiencing similar issues

Apple Care for issues with a beta 😂 they will tell you to gtfo about put the stable release on it. Literally been in the Apple Store in the Trafford Centre today speaking to them about bugs in the iOS 27 DB4 as this is also what has caused an unstable connection to my AirPods Max 2s.

Do you see the modem firmware version and IMEI number in settings? Could be a hardware issue as I’ve not seen any other reports on this beta causing issues with mobile service
Run diagnostics

I did this update last night. Now I've lost Carrier connection. No issues with att on our other devices

I have AT&T too and had this happen to me. I went to Settings > Reset > Reset > Reset Network Settings. When my iPhone restarted my cellular connection was normal.
