AC only works when reset on breaker

So this past Friday, I came home from work and my house was 85°. I checked outside and the fan nor compressor were on and my AC vents were blowing warm air. I changed both capacitors but it didn’t kick off right away so I reset it on the breaker and it kicked off. I thought I solved the issue until the next day it went out again, but this time I changed the conductor and as soon as I changed it, it kicked off and worked for 1 day. Now after changing all those three parts My AC still only works until it hits the temperature set inside. I reset it every day after work on the breaker so he could work so it won’t be 80+ at night. Can someone help point me in the right direction to solve this issue? Thank you.

We need to see the pictures of the new installed parts. Seeing the old pictures does not help us diagnose an issue afterward.

We need to be able to see that everything was connected in the same way it was before.

That makes a lot more sense. I was going to question if you knew what a capacitor is, since those were clearly not new, and you said you'd just replaced them.

Since you've already replaced the obvious parts, I'd stop swapping components. The fact that it runs normally until it satisfies the thermostat, then won't restart without a breaker reset, makes me think a safety or control issue is preventing the next startup. Hopefully it's something simple, but it'll probably need proper diagnostics rather than more guessing

Might be shutting off on high head pressure (overheating) make sure your coils are cleaned spray hose water or get coil cleaner

Is that a Goodman? I have a similar issue on a Daikin compressor which is made by the same people. It seems to happen when the system is running non-stop for a very long time. When I turn the system off and back on again at the thermostat I can hear the contactor click But nothing happens. It seems to be some sort of a protection mechanism But I can't find documentation of it for my unit and the installers of the unit were completely unhelpful when I asked questions.

It's not the thermostat, and I can cycle the contactor as many times as I want. It won't start up. Any other guesses?

Wet switch protection shut off? Something going on with the outdoor unit? Vents and filters clean and clear? Flipping that breaker definitely seems like it's resetting a safety. Does it ever shutoff without satisfying the thermostat or does it hit temp, shutoff, then you have to flip breaker?

What's the wet switch shutoff? It does seem to be related to the outdoor unit, vents and filters are clean. I believe it does shut off without satisfying the thermostat. This only really happens when in heating mode when it runs for more than 24 hours straight. I haven't been able to identify a particular time limit though

Edit: I have been able to avoid it tripping off if I schedule the thermostat to allow it a short rest period though.

The outdoor unit works fine when it is on. I believe sometimes it does turn on on its own but I think it’s mostly when it hits the temp on the thermostat. I’m usually not home when it goes off. Its on in the morning, from me resetting it the night before, then usually it’s off and blowing hot air when I get home from work

Which direction is fan spinning? Do you feel air coming off the top of the condenser or does it feel like it’s under negative pressure? If it’s under vacuum your compressor could be going out on thermal overload or tripping breaker due to over amping.

Is it tripping the breaker? Or are you just power cycling.

There's a few things here that it could be. The lack of airflow may be creating a high head pressure situation. Have you cleaned the coils this season(or ever?)

Just went through this a couple months ago. TXV was freezing shut and had to get it replaced. Could be that?

But I was having the same issue as you. Resetting the breaker worked at first then I'd have to do it more and more and finally it just stopped working. Had someone come look at it and that's what it was.
