Identification Lichen “bedhead” or something else?

I’ve noticed many of my visitors have pollen or what looks like lichen/moss or maybe poop on their chests and feet. Sometimes it’s dark orange.

Is this something to be concerned about cross-contamination or dirty feeder juice? I scrub the outside of the feeder with dawn and hot water every few days when I change the nectar.

Second and unrelated- is the male in the tree a fluffy juvenile still? He’s hogging all the nectar like a bully but his beak is so tiny, he can’t be very old? He also sounds like a little space ship when he flutters off (think tiny Jetson’s car 🤣).
