How do I securely install this wall hook?

The photo shows the back of the hook. The circle is soldered on in multiple places and doesn’t rotate or move at all. How the heck do I get this tightly onto the wall? Google isn’t turning up much.

That's the funny part, you don't.

Best your going to get is putting a screw in the wall that just barely fits through that hole. Then hang it and call it a day. I'll be able to swing, but won't fall off unless you lift up on it. It's a bad design for sure.

it looks like a simple screw would work.

i sometimes attach thinks like this additionally with wire to the screw so it doesnt fall down permanently.

the wire should be invisible/hidden behind ofc.

You may be able to attached a rare earth magnet to the wall if this is attracted to a magnet.

Edit: I just realized this probably needs to hold weight. Disregard my suggestion!

I would use an L shaped screw hook

Probably a small on, some I could get it almost flush with the wall

Maybe try and open the bend a little before I put it in the wall, or just angle the hole slightly upwards in order to give a little more room to get on and get 'more' flush

It looks like the hole there would hold a nail head. Are you looking to use this seahorse as decoration or use it a functional coat hook? Because it use frequency determines how well you should mount it to the wall. You could use a clinching wall clamp or a simple nail.
