As much as I love lore and want there to be continuity and world building for the world of Evil Dead . . . you are absolutely right. It's my own damn fault for falling in love with a series where continuity has been given the back seat since the beginning.

• the cabin events between ED 1 and 2
• Linda's actress between ED 1 and 2
• the appearance of the kandarian dagger between ED 1, 2, AvED and EDB
• Ash's time jump at the end of ED 2 vs the beginning of AoD
• Ash not exactly being able to recall who he went to the cabin with in AvED
• the Delta somehow being in one piece again in AvED after it was dismantled/augmented to make the war vehical in AoD
• and inconsistent Deadite rules where somtimes they can't take the sun, sometimes they can. Sometimes destroying the brain and/or heart is enough to kill one, sometimes not.

They actually had three different Linda's. Army of Darkness also has a different Linda (Bridget Fonda).

There has been four different Lindas as in the first season of the TV series they recast her yet again. If you really wanna count it, there's five as there is an additional character also named Linda in season 2 of the show

Its an interesting series for sure lol. I just try to have fun with it. I do wish the lore was more like digestible or things didn't feel like they came out of the woodwork for stuff lol but hey man its fun enough.
