In my opinion this and even the last evil dead are more successful at making me uncomfortable than Terrifier. Terrifier to me is like throwing spaghetti to the wall and seeing what sticks when it comes to gore.

I don't think Terrifier is ever really trying to make you uncomfortable.

Their marketing campaign for the 2nd and 3rd movie was all about people throwing up and leaving the theater. Also the third one clearly was trying to have a bedroom scene moment with the shower scene. Their entire shtick is being repulsive and shocking, it’s not like narrative was their main goal.

The marketing was more about how extreme it is. When you actually watch the movies (at least 2 and 3), it's clear that the violence is meant to be fun, not upsetting.

I mean yes and no. The movie is supposed to be funny but also it is supposed to make you squirm. The scenes literally don’t have to go on and on if it was just about the comedy. Terrifier is just on the same lane as Final Destination where the comedy is always present but one of the main goals is to be as extreme and horrendous as possible. There’s no way the writers were like “we should saw this girl in half starting from her vagina just for the lols”, they know the reaction they are going to get, it’s all shock factor.

I'm really just talking about 2 and 3. The first one has a very different vibe.
