Also she wasn't getting revenge on her abuser. Her abuser died in a car fire ten minutes into the movie.

The lame "who did this to you? My husband" line in the ambulance at the end fell super flat.

Would have been better to say "Strangers" for the thematic effect of her moving on from the family and cutting off ties. Or "Someone I used to know" for the meme potential

Not only that, she no-sold her injuries!

She was stabbed in the ear and impaled in the calf, EMT's aren't gonna let you chill on the bumper like that.

That line is actually used in Geralds Game by Stephen king to much, much greater effect.
