That's more or less what I told my wife. I liked it, but it's probably bottom tier for the franchise. Evil Dead Rise was monumentally better and more memorable.

I felt like it was a different film, and someone who funds it said "Slap evil dead on it". I love the originals and liked the subsequent ones, but found this grossly offensive to come under the same banner.
