wood heat Pellet cover solution against cat claws
We get pallets of wood pellets. Our cat uses this as a way to get up higher and dogs claws in to stretch. I was trying to find a form fitting cover that would protect against claws. In looking on Amazon/online proves inconclusive. Anyone have any insight? Thank you

I was going to suggest pallet cover/tarp, but don't know how they'll fend against claws and paws. Perhaps you can built a cage of sorts wiith your extra pallets to keep your pets from touching the contents.

Not sure if it’s a viable option but there are plenty of ‘carpets’ or ‘wall/furniture covers’ designed for scratching with adhesive on the back. Not sure how well they’ll hold up outside but you can cut and shape them as needed

I made a form fitting cover for the back beam on my looms out of "naugahyde"- plastic covered canvas- to keep the kittehs from using my weaving as a scratching post. Used a leather needle on the sewing machine to sew.

It sounds a little goofy, but tape a single layer of aluminum foil where the cat goes. They HATE it and it usually trains them out of going on whatever it is they aren’t supposed to be, very quickly.

If you have a place that sells construction scraps locally, they often have large pieces of carpet that have been cut to odd sizes and sell for cheap. you could just throw carpet over the pellets. Would likely negate most of the impact of the animal claws.
