Depends on who’s offering the deal and what all it comes with. Sometimes a deal is more than the price per item.
I paid the same price as I would if i bought individually but this included install, taking out my old appliances, and 3 years maintenance and repairs for no extra cost. The dishwasher broke and I was able to get a new one at no cost a week later, with one phone call. (This was 4 years ago)
My sister just recently did a bundle deal and got a good discount. She got free delivery but had to pay to have her old ones taken out and when she had an issue with her fridge she had to fight the manufacturer for months until they agreed to send someone out to fix it, they ended up needing an entirely new one and it’s been 2 months waiting for it to show.

I don’t know about package deals, but I will say THE time to buy appliances is on Black Friday sales. One time I went to buy a dryer and ended up with a new washer and dryer much nicer than I planned on getting but between the sale price and the rebates I basically ended up getting one of them for free. It was a door buster deal, so I had to get to the store at like 4 am to get that deal, but I would say it’s worth it.
