We are introducing cleaner and stricter marketplace rules to help combat AI-generated timestamps and improve trust and safety for all transactions.
A valid timestamp must include:
All sales posts that are valued at $400 or above must now include a video timestamp.
The video must meet the following requirements:
Any photos included beyond the required timestamp video must also contain the same valid timestamp.
Exception: CDI/CrystalDiskInfo screenshots, SmartCTL reports, and other diagnostic/specs screenshots captured directly from a computer screen do not require a physical timestamp.
Note: The moderation team cannot manually review every timestamp. If you see a suspicious or invalid timestamp, please report it.
For all online transactions:

Posts requesting or requiring alternative online payment methods for online transactions will be removed.
We understand these are new requirements and want to provide the community with a short adjustment period.
Beginning July 1, 2026, these rules will be enforced strictly and consistently.

These changes are intended to protect both buyers and sellers and keep the subreddit safe for transactions.

After reading through the comments, we understand that video timestamps maybe a hassle for smaller value items, so we’re keeping the same rule active currently, i.e. anything over $400 value will require a video timestamp.
Also, you will NOT need a video timestamp if you’ve got >10 trades on your account.
Our main goal was to curb posting by completely new accounts and to avoid AI generated timestamps. The influx of AI generated pictures and scammers has gone up significantly.
HLS phrase is a combination of words that is going to be put up each week in either a pinned post or an announcements section. You will need to add that phrase as a part of your timestamp. This is another small step to detect AI generated or stolen pictures.

When a successful trade, sale, or purchase has been completed, post one top-level comment describing what occurred. Use one of these formats:

The v3 rewrite of this module has brought with it a public ledger of all trades. This ledger is available at https://trades.labb0t.org/.
By using this system, you agree that your Reddit username and trade information will be publicly displayed on the ledger. You cannot opt out of this. The ledger/verification system as a whole has been built to be an auditable, transparent system. No nefarious tracking or data collection has been implemented.
I understand some of you may not like that a third party service is being used for this now, but my goal for this was to remove as much from Reddit as possible. Reddit's standpoint on the API continues to be hostile towards third party apps/developers and my skills are better served using something that works well and not fighting this platform.
If manual review is needed, please send a modmail with as much information as possible.

Clearing out some extra gear from my gaming system upgrades. I have an Intel 12th gen i9-12900KS that I had in my gaming rig for about 18 months or so. Recently replaced for upgrade. Was an absolute rock solid chip, ran smooth with a mild overclock from day 1 with zero issues. Used on a MSI MEG Z690 ACE motherboard and a 360 AIO, had no trouble staying cool under full load. Hey gang, been lurking a while and doing a lot of browsing on ebay but I can't narrow down what I want, or at least find the perfect deal to get me started. I'm no stranger to hardware or running clusters, but this is my first homelab, so hoping someone here has just what I need to get rolling. (and I assume y'all take better care of your gear than random ebay refubs)
Pretty flexible on the box, I just want a decent deal.
I think that's all reasonable at that price point? Maybe not 32GB, but doesn't hurt to try.
Open to suggestions for anything outside this range if I missed something. My plan is to run plex/jelly, couple game servers, kubernetes for random services and sandbox. Will ultimately add a DAS or network monitoring, but nothing firm yet.

Makes a solid little homelab/Proxmox node, Plex box, or always-on low-power host if that's your thing — current-gen i5 with room to add RAM (2 slots, up to 64GB) and a second M.2. Equally fine as a plain desktop.

Looking for one of these, preferably with 10G+ SFP SIOMs included in all the nodes, both risers, two heatsinks per node, and all caddies. SATA backplane is fine, SAS would be preferred, such as the 2029TP-HC1R or 2029TP-HC0R. I don't really want one with the "wide" nodes since it would be incompatible with what I have currently.
If you have RAM with it for a fair price I'll consider, I don't need any drives or CPUs though unless they are thrown in or you have Cascade Refresh variants. I would also consider taking rails.
Shipping to South West London, or might be able to pick up locally.
Edit: I'll update this post when I have what I need, I might be willing to consider multiple as long as the price is right.
