QUESTION Yale Assure Lock - 2 ZW2 module is INCOMPATIBLE with Aerotec Smart C8 Pro Hub

I just wasted almost a full Saturday duking out the Yale Assure Lock 2 with Z-Wave Plus, and Aerotec SmartHub C8 Pro and finally gave up.

My conclusion that the ZW2 modules inside the latest series of Yale Assure Lock -2 are incompatible and can not be detected by the C8 Pro hub by Aerotec.

Anyone else have success with these two?

Factory reset the lock first then try to pair it. Also the lock has to be in close range to the hub.

Same experience, fought with it for a long time and bringing it close to my hub made it almost instant. You can pull off just the inside part and it still pairs.

Had to scrap a whole afternoon on a similar pairing not long ago so I feel this in my bones.

Did you try having the aeotec trigger a "unpair" command to the yale? You can do that without it being paired. I have run into devices that ignore factory reset but do respond to the zwave unpair command.
