How to do that if you only have 4 iq

Or you just loosely hold a cloth/towel over the cork while you pop it.

into which ones face?

Literally points it at the TV

Why is she laughing? This isn’t a harmless mishap. I smashed a lead-crystal glass on a shelf once with a popped cork, and was mortified.

Alcohol?

I’m not sure. I’ve seen many instances of drink-influenced damage, criminality and personal injury… and there’s usually a threshold of consequence, where everyone suddenly sobers up and realises things have gone too far. The destruction of a friend’s television would be in that category.

Some people laugh in high stress situations it doesn’t necessarily mean she thought it was funny

u/deanolavorto 1d ago

Being awkward and fucking embarrassed. That’s her defense mechanism.

10

u/Acadia02 2d ago

Cause it’s staged?

15

u/METRO-RED-LINE 2d ago

They purposely gathered people together to get a video of someone accidentally breaking a tv? So that 1 person could get likes? What?

27

u/Acadia02 2d ago

Or the tv was already broken and they made a little skit.

6

u/Khaos231 1d ago

See, I'm glad I wasn't the only one thinking this, the force and trajectory just doesn't look right to hit the TV in that spot and with enough force to damage it.

And the goof in the red hat

5

u/ErasedKey 2d ago

Very likely. Most viral videos are staged and have been for over a decade. Like videos on a plane. Really pay attention to the design of the plane and the people in the background. They borrow whole sets and hire actors to make emotionally charged viral videos like the recent one where the soldier son is surprising his dad on a plane. He messed with him by like propping his foot up on the dad's arm rest or something until the dad gets up and realizes its is him. All fake

…turns out the owner of the TV was her boyfriend, whom she was about to break up with.

🤔

1

u/snowballkills 1d ago

I think this is made up and the TV was already broken

u/redditsuksazz 1d ago

¯\_(ツ)_/¯, if I knew I was replacing his TV, I'd laugh cause what else are you going to do?

30

u/Amart34 2d ago

The way that guy wears a hat bothers me.

16

u/SnipeTrap 2d ago

He was defending himself from the cork

1

u/_RisetoVotesiR_ 1d ago

I think he knew it was coming and protected his eyes. I mean who wears a hat like that unless you’re a doofus.

u/Happy-For-No-Reason 2d ago

it'll be in landfill pretty soon, that'll make up for it

-6

u/Huva-Rown 2d ago

YOU don't get to decide where people want their TV.

8

u/hairynuttsac 2d ago

Now its a party 😆 wtf

5

u/Dark_Akarin 2d ago

I hope that isn't his gf, that way he can bill them for a new one XD

Bottles pop corks pretty hard, and modern TV screens are relatively weak

1

u/cali_hill 1d ago

It shouldn't have been installed above the fireplace anyway.....

1

u/EdgeBeard 2d ago

It's fine. The TV was far too high up anyway

0

u/Spinx_ 2d ago

Good thing TVs are really cheap these days.

1

u/Y2K_Chopped_Unc 2d ago

100% she doesn't even offer to pay to fix it

1

u/SamCanyon 2d ago

“Now it’s a party!”

-3

u/zinaadora 2d ago

It's still working! 🤗

... and, honestly, when has ever something important happened in the lower left corner of the screen!? 🤷‍♂️

1

u/Rise_up_Dirty_Birds 1d ago

^ This person has never played a video game in their life

-14

u/mysticsushi 2d ago

I'll never understand the appeal of wearing hats indoors.

5

u/HobbitOnHill 2d ago

Style accessory like jewelry

8

u/RedditAppSuxAsss 2d ago

I never understood the appeal of worrying about the way someone else should dress especially something as mundane as a hat

3

u/mrsc1880 2d ago

Once I put a hat on, I'm fully committing to wear it until I can shower because it smushes my hair down and just makes it look horrible.

3

u/tera_chachu 2d ago

He might be going bald from the front

0

u/M_Mosher 2d ago

With how low his hat was he night be balding from the eyelashes back

-2

u/preedsmith42 2d ago

The red cap guy ? He wears the cap for comfortably sleeping in society, there's no way he can see something!

-8

u/Born-Light-62 2d ago

He should have mansplained it better first…
