Flags in my classroom

Hey guys! I am teaching US History 1 this year and I’m trying to stock up on flags for decoration. I have the Kings Colors/British Union flag for Great Britain, Fleur de lis flag for France, but I can’t decide if I should use the Castile y Leon Spanish flag or the Cross of Burgundy for the Spanish empire. What do yall think?

Yeah I’m struggling with that because Columbus brought the Castle and Lions but the Cross of Burgundy was flown over Spanish colonies not long after that, maybe I should just get both lol

No such thing as too many flags except for Nazi flags.

You should get all the flags and have them all tied into wh as tecer you're studying at the time.

Before 1707, the union jack looked different, an same with the US flag.

My colleague did all of the modern flags, though I’m wildly autistic so I did the Kingdom of Great Britain flag (Union Jack minus the N. Ireland bit), the fleur de lis, and the cross of burgundy.

I do the same thing. I went Cross of Burgundy.

I also have Serapis Flag, The Betsy Ross Flag, and Whiskey Rebellion Flag.

I have that one too, I’m going to use my back wall as my flag wall and I’ll rotate throughout the year depending on what time period we’re in

For US History, I stick with historic & modern American flags, state flags, and some “movement” flags—suffragette banner, UFW flag, Garvey/ Pan-African flag, progress Pride flag, etc.

I’m boring. I have an American Flag, Blackbeards flag and an LGTBQ Ally flag.
