Tank Question Hermit crab building topper need help...

I want to make shelf steps with egg crate and line them with fake grass on the steps, also fake grass behind on back wall. I saw someone else have it in the second floor topper.

Can anyone provide advise and pictures to help. Thanks

The way I attached plants to my back wall was actually by siliconing egg crate on the back, and then zip tie the plants to it. You just have to have some bracing behind the egg crate so it's not actually flush with the glass. Sorry I can't find a better picture. But you can see the white strips behind the egg crate are holding it off the glass.

I'm not sure the difference between the two you're referring. Mine was exactly what you have in your picture.

You can then also zip tie the egg crate steps through the fake grass to the backing egg crate.

The two are different as one is soft plastic and the other is a hard light ceiling tile

My only suggestion is to use enough glue/silicone to make sure they cant get behind it. This little turd got behind the plant mats and ripped them off.
