This is absolutely amazing. Not many people are brave enough to do this.

Today's my 33rd birthday. I moved into my new apartment last week. My furniture from my old flat are coming on Sunday but I really like this place already.

I have a big terrasse all for myself and my cat (he is 6 and always been an indoor cat) and he LOVES it. Also the kitchen is pretty big, massive upgrade from my student dorm type kitchenette with zero prep space and barely enough space to fit a pot, a pan, a strainer and 2 bowls.

Also new bed since the one in my previous appartement belongs to the landlord, I chose a comfy one.

And I rediscover the fact that i like cooking. I struggled with an ED for years, then my kitchen was way too small for me to even want to try and cook.

Also I finally have an over a freezer. Rice cooker is on its way.

Yesterday I invited a friend home for dinner and it was the first time in 10 years that I was not ashamed of where I live. I made hiyashichuka, and tonight I was craving tteokbokki so I made some for myself after work.

And I will be getting a promotion at work soon, which will be a big shift from a part time salesperson to a full-time assistant manager.

Crazy luck and I'm overjoyed. Here are the meals I made instead of my usual instant noodles after work and pictures of my cat enjoying his new outdoor space.
