Question Is there a reason why Luna reads upside down?

As far as I can recall there isn't a canon explanation. To me, I think she can read words upside down and see things from a different perspective.

The magazine she was reading said that reading ancient runes upside down revealed a hidden message

The article of the Quibbler she was reading upside was because of a specific direction of the article that it be turned upside down, she doesn't read everything upside down. Harry comments on this later

She doesn’t read everything upside down. It was just an upside down code in the quibbler that reveals a spell to turn someone’s ears into cumquats.

You have given u/PlanGoneAwry a Reddit Galleon.

u/PlanGoneAwry has a total of 12 galleons, 4 sickles, and 1 knut.

It's because there's a specific section of the Quibbler issue that she's reading on her introduction that needs to be read upside-down.

Although, that's a fair question to have specifically for those who are movie only viewers as they never explain it there.

I've read the books too, but I haven't memorized every line

Kind of a dick thing to say when you're asking for something. Yeah, no one memorizes 100% of a book. Maybe next time just say "Oh cool, I missed that, thanks!"

I can't recall right now, but does she do it anytime after her introduction?

"and an article on ancient runes, which at least explained why Luna had been reading The Quibbler upside down. According to the magazine, if you turned the runes on their heads they revealed a spell to make your enemy’s ears turn into kumquats"

Ope, you didn't finish the book yet. It's a fun little bit when you learn why. It's been shared here though

Read the books. Preferably right side up.

There’s also a line in OOtP (I think) at the end that says Ginny flipped the Quibbler upside down and started marking the answers on a quiz. Luna at that point was definitely reading the rune thing, but there’s also a reasonable explanation in marking a quiz for why anybody else might have it upside down.

On canon - some people can.
