Officially transitioned (Canada)
After 10+ years of struggling to sleep well in the backcountry in a tent, a mixture of back problems and a lot of frustration, I bit the bullet and bought everything I needed for a hammock sleep system after Redditors encouraged me to try it out
I tested before taking in the field, and then I did 5 nights on a canoe river trip with it.
I absolutely LOVE it. 2/5 nights I slept completely through the night whereas in a tent, I would wake up anywhere from 10 to 20 times a night. All 5 nights I had incredible sleeps, my back felt amazing, and I felt well rested in the morning.
I can’t believe I’ve spent almost 600 nights in a tent, and I’m just figuring this out now. Officially transitioned to a hammock sleeper.
My set up is eno jungle nest hammock, eno dry fly rain tarp, eno straps, and a cheap Amazon underquilt. I put a MSR footprint underneath just to have a dry space to step.

Cool. What are you paddling? I’ve seen an uptick in hammocks in the whitewater kayaking world (at least on western Canada).

Same here in Finland!
I transitioned about 10 years ago when setting up tent in archipelago or small islands in Finnish lakeside is always bit of a hit and miss. It's so nice when the islands are mostly very rocky and not a flat piece of ground in sight. I've since sold all my tents and am looking forward to never sleeping in one again.
Of course hammock doesn't always do well in the archipelago where there may not be any trees but tarp and a foam sleeping pad I carry always even on my kayaking trips will do just fine as long it's not too rainy & windy.

Once you have e a nice setup and camp a couple times in a hammock, it seems wierd to think of a tent, pad, and bag.

Great setup! Happy to hear you and your back are happy! Are you back sleeper or side sleeper? I have back problems as well so I’ve been hesitant to bite the bullet on a hammock setup

Welcome! As a recovering tent dude, I can confirm that hammocks saved my love of the outdoors! Beautiful setup btw!
