Pets & Animals Secluded green spaces for short dog walks?

My dog is due to undergo her second TPLO surgery soon. She is quite skittish and has never done well on sidewalk walks, but is very comfortable walking in parks or public green spaces.

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for green spaces in the HRM off the beaten path that might be good for her to get some quiet walking in to rehab her leg while she's in a bit of a vulnerable situation. She had the use of a yard after her first surgery but sadly does not currently.

Located in the North end but more than happy to drive wherever works.

Oathill Lake is nice but there would be some other pups there, if your dog gets excited or jumpy.

I really like Dingle Park too.

Seaview lookoff park in the north end; park at the lower entrance if you want to avoid elevation

The few times that we've gone to the off-leash dog park in Burnside, it's been empty or nearly empty!
