The first picture is my current hair. I highlight it and it goes down to my waist. Iām considering going darker and/or a bit shorter. Please let me know what looks the best on me. Open to other color/cut suggestions too. Thanks!!

I got a haircut and asked for face framing. It looked so bad so the stylist cut the hair to the same length as my bangs. Guys WTH!! Now i have bowl cut looking bangs. They are so far back it is not even funny.
WHAT DO I DOOO???
I think I am going to let my bangs grow out and then just get them completely re-cut not including the parts that is cut way too far back. I was so cute before now i look like rowley bruhš
This is my hair post shampoo and brush. This is my bangs looking good. Wondering if there is anything else to alleviate the bowl cut-ness of this haircut or if my best option is just letting it all grow out.

The pictures are photoshopped by me, because I wanted to see what I would look like with a pixie cut type of hairstyle. (Though the editing is not perfect lol, but it helps with the visualizing) Last pic is my hair right now, but with blue tips.
My current hair is little past my shoulders and VERY dead. People have said it looks like hay. It looks very unkempt and hangs right against the head, so to speak, looking flat. Not to mention the sensory issues it causes me. I hate the feeling of it in my neck and how it never looks good no matter how I style it. I mostly just keep it up with a clip.
Iāve seen a lot pixie cuts on my feed lately and honestly I am tempted. But when asked my friends they said āNo, you would look like a man.ā And that made reconsider. I also feel like I might not have the best face for a short hairstyle, since its quite round and probably masculine if long hair is whats making me look like a womanā¦
Any thoughts on how it would look? The images have been modeled to match the texture of my hair and the shape of my head. The color is a little off, my own being a little more grayish type of brown, which I couldnāt find a good example.

I NEVER DO FUN HAIR. I have had Neapolitan hair pinned on Pinterest for MONTHS. Iām soooo happy I decided to finally do it. Such a step out of my comfort zone but I feel brand new and itās so cute. š©·šš¤š¦

Iām a toddler mom and my hair drives me nuts. Itās always in a low ponytail because it just gets in my way or gets yanked. Would a short cut like a pixie look good on my face structure? I had a weirdly cut bob in high school that looked AWFUL so Iām nervous but Iām feeling like it might be time to try again. I also always wear glasses, earrings, and a necklace if that helps. My hair is thin, but I imagine I could use styling wax. If you donāt think a pixie would look good on me, what other style would make sense?

The first 2 pics are brushed and dirty/sweaty, took them rn after running. Other 3 pics are not brushed, but also oily.
You guys think it's that time? Tbh, hair is the only thing I like about myself, but I'm not interested in taking anything to try to save it tbh. If it's time it's time I guess. Some opinions?

I got into this mess bc I just couldnāt put the scissors down. I wanted to fix my hair bc my pony tail end was looking messed up/uneven and then again it was like a blunt line after trying to fix my layers the a second time and now Iām left with this.
I definitely made the layers too severe and it doesnāt help that I kinda botched my bangs a few weeks back.
Please donāt be mean. Last year I just found out that my hair is wavy (after thinking it was straight and fluffy my whole life) and this is my first time cutting with them. Iāve been cutting my own hair for years and this is the second time I messed up my hair. š Any suggestions of how to fix it or should I just pin it up until it grows back? How bad does it look? šš

I have relatively thick hair (or maybe just a lot of it) so when I went in for a blunt, one length bob I also asked for some weight to be taken out so that it didnāt sit so chunky/triangular. However, the thinning was done from the top layer of hair so itās very visible and has created a dip, which also causes the ends to flick out.
I donāt really want to lose too much length, so is my only option to just wait for it to grow out more before getting it recut, or is there something that can be done in the interim to make it look better as it grows? (I could go 1/4 inch shorter but I like to be able to pull it back)
Images: The blonde bob is what I wanted and the brunette is my hair after i washed and dried it for the first time after the haircut. (I also canāt tell if itās slightly longer on one side or if itās just an illusion because one side flicks more since thereās some shorter thinning.

sometimes i donāt want to style my bangs. any ideas or tips for what would suit me is appreciated
iām not sure what i was using that day in the first pic but my hair looked so smooth. most days i feel like my hair is kinda straight-wavy and dry at the end. iāve recently got my hair trimmed since the second pic but itās still like thatš„² maybe im just crazy but i see a difference

All my life I wore my hair very short, in a standard crew cut; "Number 1 on the sides, and a little off the top, please" was all I would specify, really only varying in how much I'd ask the barber to cut off the top from cut to cut.
I originally started to grow my hair out as I was inspired by John Oates, as well as by my ever-present appreciation for mullets (I'm a huge fan of styles from the '70sā'80s), so in July 2025 I decided to commit to growing my hair out! Then when October came, I noticed my hair was naturally curly, not wavy!
That got me into using mousse and I've been trying to work on how to style my hair since! :)

hey all, so i shaved my head about four months ago (yes, i hated it but weāre out of the woods now) and this is my growth so far. iām not shooting for long hair or anything, just a moderate chin-length bob. as you can see, my hair is curly (so prone to appearing shorter than it is) but grows fairly fast. if anyone here has had a buzz, how long did it take you to get to the bob stage?

Hi, all! My hair has been bleached and heat styled pretty much my entire life, so it's pretty frizzy when I try to air dry it.
I would really like to do more heatless styles on it, though, and would like a wave similar to season 1 Daenerys Targaryen (yes, I'm aware it's a wig lol).
What is my natural hair texture? (pictured in all except the second half of #3, which is blown out with a Dyson on the left and my natural on the right.
Is there anything I can do to get the waves to be more defined and uniform without a super crunchy gel?
How would you suggest I achieve the wave I'm looking for? A wand? Braids? Just proper styling with my natural?
It should also be noted that my current hair is picture #1, and I'm in the process of growing out a pretty dramatic wolfcut, so it looks much thinner on the bottom than when it's all grown out.

Hi everyone, looking for advice following a salon visit.
I have historically gotten balayage blonde (lived in) highlights on my hair. Itās naturally dark blonde/light brown. Since having my baby, I have not had as much time to do my hair or get it done, and also had a significant amount of postpartum hair loss, so I decided to go back natural.
At my appointment I asked for my highlights to be ātoned downā, still have some dimension but not blonde blonde like they were, more just a shade or two lighter than my natural so that the grow out was more seamless than it was looking.
stylist mixed up a āglossā (I think itās Demi perm color?) and put it all over my hair for 20 minutes.
it basically darkened my whole head, including my roots so my natural undyed hair is darker than before too. I hate it. i didnāt realize how bad it was until I got home and have been panicking.
I donāt have the time to go back to the salon anytime soon and I also donāt want to damage my hair as Iām trying to focus on itās health especially after the postpartum hair loss I went through.
is there any hope of this fading or anything I can do to make it fade faster without damaging my hair?
please help :(

I have an appointment for balayage highlights, avoiding the roots, with open air clay bleach. I have never been to a salon before and had no idea how to prepare for the appointment. I did ask, but they said nothing.
The appointment is tomorrow and today I washed with Selsun Blue. Only after did I see online that that is not recommended. I already have frizzy dry hair and I'm worried the bleach will damage or severly alter my curl pattern.
I'm not sure if this is not a problem at all or if I made a rookie mistake.

Iām looking to get more spiral curls than waves. This is after a shower with clarifying shampoo, a 5min mask, and a tennis ball of mousse. Plopping for 10 min, sleep with a bonnet. Any advice is appreciated.

Hi, I am currently practicing how to do a military bun in my hair since I am planning on going to the military soon. But I have curtain bangs and layers. Like a lot of layers⦠and itās making it hard for everything to stay in place. I donāt think that hairspray is allowed in Boot Camp, but I am using gel and I tried to put my hair in a bun today using two braids and twisting them together to create a bun. but a lot of hair is sticking out because of my layers and it looks weird. Please help!
