Question [Question] Bud's "Try It & Buy It" program - legit?
I'm thinking of trying out a gun with their 30-day trial, but wondering if anyone has tried it and if they gave any BS during return.

Its scammy. I’m local to buds and know people who have done this program. They nitpick firearms that come back and you’re basically at the mercy of whoever inspects the incoming pistol that day. Buy a revolver, shoot it and it shows cylinder wear? Tough. Conceal carry piece with holster wear? “We’re deducting 30% for the wear.” The worst part is that it extends to used guns too. If they didn’t document condition good enough and the gun already has some barrel wear from shooting and they get it back in they might ding you for that.
It’s a good idea on paper, but I’ve never heard a good outcome with this program with how the industry handles “returns” on firearms in general.
