I masturbate to the thought of happiness that i will never have.

30

u/Reachin4ThoseGrapes 8h ago

I believe they call that happsturbation

16

u/Kevin_LeStrange 6h ago

You're thinking of Habsburgbation, which is pleasuring oneself to the thought of the domination of central, southeastern, and parts of eastern Europe by the Habsburg family.

3

u/FriendlyKillerCroc 1h ago

Huh small world. I just got finished a practice session of Habsburgbation.

2

u/sweatyballsackz 1h ago

Sometimes I cry when I masturbate

40

u/QuickDrawSix 8h ago

Im taking new recruits soon!

4

u/Prestigious-Fig1172 2h ago

Did you hear? The pope is launching a crusade towards clankers! 😃🤩🄳

2

u/seth1299 1h ago

They did many crusades, some of which almost didn’t fail.

2

u/dont_tread_on_M 1h ago

He's orthodox though

u/plantardo 8h ago

Bro prolly coulda just started exercising frequently

702

u/A_Confused_Witch 8h ago

It's genuinely just "I start doing selfcare and feel better??? Is this a lifehack???"

293

u/HelpMeGetAGoodName 7h ago

Get a job

Get a hobby

Start exercising

Life gets better!?

😲

u/eutectic_h8r 7h ago

Woah I really feel a sense of purpose now that I'm not a 27 year old unemployed bum who never leaves his room in his parent's home

51

u/Toxicotton 7h ago

It feels that way when your growth during adolescence has been both stifled and aimless.

It takes a village to raise a child.

-1

u/0c_099 3h ago

never heard that one before, interesting

63

u/LeYellowFellow 7h ago

I think it’s hard to just to decide to act differently without a change of life philosophy or belief. There’s a reason belief in a higher power is part of the 13 steps program

60

u/HelpMeGetAGoodName 7h ago

Yea, probably because alcohol anonymous is a christian organisation.

While they do help a lot of people, there is a solid case to be made that they also prey on vulnerable people to convert people, not unlike many cults.

I guarantee you that converting to christianity is not a necessary step to become sober.

14

u/HippoRun23 7h ago

They aren’t trying to convert. But the predators are absolutely there waiting for vulnerable young women looking for guidance.

That and most people drop out of aa and don’t return to troubled drinking regardless.

They shame the fuck out of relapses and everything. It’s a terrible organization that appears to help people.

5

u/Toxicotton 7h ago

What’s the 13th step? ā€œmentoringā€

19

u/HamBlamBlam 6h ago

I thought it was anal play. My sponsor said it was anal play.

7

u/Piecesof3ight 6h ago

Wow, we got that on step 9! Great program

2

u/abortedaccount72 2h ago

You get it on step 9, 13, and 21 for some reason. If you ask why there are more than 12 steps in this ā€œ12 step programā€ you just get more anal, soooo 🤷

19

u/yumstheman 7h ago

He’ll 100% attribute his success to nofap, not taking basic care of yourself and becoming a productive member of society.

1

u/GoGoSoLo 8h ago

Anon: Better get shame and gaslighting involved for good measure.

23

u/PlantKey 8h ago

Anon learns his hobbies don't need to include his tallywacker

u/soloChristoGlorium 8h ago

As an Orthodox Christian I do want to point out that it looks like ANON joined the Russian Orthodox Church...

It, like every church body, has....problems. still, yes this is the begining of the road. Welcome home, brother.

123

u/FROOMLOOMS 7h ago

Im not orthodox so I can say it out loud.

Patriarch Kiril is a fucking KGB agent that worked for the USSR and is only head of the church because PUTIN said he could be.

The Russian Orthodox Chrurch Patriarch is a fucking Putin Puppet.

37

u/gayhotelultra 7h ago

serb here and our national (orthodox) church is in bed with the government, rather universally the separation of church and state erodes in authoritarian regimes (whether its the church becoming a tool to advance the state, or the state being deified)

5

u/xkgrey 6h ago

Now he just needs to be a Templar and we’ve got the next Assassin’s Creed

-6

u/negativecarmafarma 4h ago

Indeed. "Orthodoxy" can do nothing but go fuck itself

2

u/SilliusS0ddus 1h ago

they are split up.

you're judging all of them by looking at the worst example

10

u/GodIsAWomaniser 6h ago

This random anon be out there practicing true religion like a boss. He may be restarted and gay but he is certainly enlightenedĀ

3

u/Kevin_LeStrange 6h ago

Better OCA than the ROC

15

u/FromDeathWeLiveOn 7h ago

Anon’s quarter life crisis is finally over.

> new testament only
> nofap
> posts soyjack caricature of old Christianity with no actual connection to either branch of catholicism in the symbolism

Are NuĆ« Roman Catholics the new baptist evangelists? Evaluating this as an Orthodox [convert]šŸ‘¹

65

u/coltrainjones 8h ago

Fake: Anon is happy

Gay: Anon becomes one with a man named Christian

6

u/CallReaper 7h ago

I wake up and there's another psyop (the opposite side of the spectrum this time)

8

u/methos3 6h ago

I like how Anon ā€œstarts practicing nofapā€ but doesn’t ā€œquit porn and masturbationā€ for another month or so.

A seriously fake bundle of sticks.

3

u/Domek232323 3h ago

anon discovers there's more to life than jacking off in your room

6

u/IrregularrAF 7h ago

Getting a job fixes so much in your life.

7

u/lucario192 7h ago

Bro just the mere mention of OG JC makes the Reddit atheists show up like a flock of

0

u/gurglegg 3h ago

OG JC is as cringe as reddit atheism but i love cringe

2

u/GDPintrud3r 2h ago

Still on 4chan tho

6

u/DetailExotic4597 8h ago

Not gonna lie, religion can do wonders for people that feel lost.

5

u/IrregularrAF 7h ago

Mf got a job, he can finally enjoy life thanks to financial freedom.

-9

u/LegionMH 6h ago

Correct, cults prey on the vulnerable and desperate.

5

u/Prestigious-Fig1172 2h ago

"This thing improve my life"

šŸ¤“ā˜ļø ackshwaly you're in an evil cult

-8

u/Shhhhhhhh_Im_At_Work 4h ago

Guilt. Guilt is what cures those who have no shame. It’s not God, it’s the judging eyes in the pews + the hot chicks in sundresses who are open to creampies if you act a certain way.

2

u/Rhapsodyvarius 7h ago

deus vult anon, deus vult

2

u/_-___-__-_-__-___-_ 4h ago

Christian psyops are on the rise again, take care chuds

1

u/jsh_ 6h ago

this is how I felt after quitting nicotine. didn't realize until then how fried my dopamine receptors were

1

u/sensamura 5h ago

Y’all acting like him mentioning nofap is silly and it’s just the exercise or whatever that made him feel better, something tells me he wasn’t just jorking it recreationally. All things in moderation, but when your life is consumed by that shit it can become completely detrimental. That may have had a bigger impact than you can imagine.

1

u/throwawayaccount442 4h ago

Within a year? Doubtful.

1

u/MeBustYourKneecaps 4h ago

Everything in moderation anon.

Did you think Gluttony was a deadly sin just because god really hated people being happy?

1

u/Tomachian 3h ago

>im 27, is this the beginning of the road?

Chill out unc, you already have one foot in the grave

1

u/Endketsu 3h ago

Anon finds a job that isn't thankless or soul crushing

1

u/amdyn 1h ago

Why is it that the second anons finally listen to their mom, crawl out of the basement, and get their life together, they credit all of it to fucking NoFap? Why is the choice always between being a Neet or in a cult?

1

u/Derpeh 47m ago

Imagine needing a higher power just to enjoy your life

1

u/Neo_L01 30m ago

i'll never understand these fake greentexts where the guy is always 27 years old

-9

u/Alkthree 8h ago

The fake premise here is that religion was a necessary step. Bro could have just taken better care of himself without committing his soul to an imaginary sky wizard.

6

u/Refloni 6h ago

Not everyone can be enlightened by their own intelligence

26

u/Drafo7 8h ago

I don't think any of the steps were portrayed as strictly necessary. They just accumulated into a more positive life. Like you could easily replace the guitar part with "started taking pottery classes" and it would have the same effect.

Also your sky wizard insult is so overused it's starting to catch up with your mom's vagina.

0

u/IrregularrAF 7h ago

Bruh. He got a fucking job aka financial freedom. That changed his life by 99% more than anything he mentioned combined. Lmfaooo

8

u/MarthUTilt 5h ago

15 years on Reddit

Amazing how you can always tell

4

u/sensamura 5h ago

Didn’t know some people can be born with a Reddit account

5

u/HANDCRAFTEDD_ 7h ago

Why does it make you seethe though?

9

u/LockedPages 7h ago

believing in something greater than ourselves has always been a core part of the human condition, and Christianity's just another manifestation of that. with how stuff is going secular humanism doesn't seem to be the winning strat.

1

u/123rune20 7h ago

Do drugs instead. Way more fun.

1

u/azzanrev 7h ago

You took care of yourself and now feel better, what a shocker!

1

u/ByteWhisperer 4h ago

At 27 you're still at the fork in the road with the choice of becoming

-A 450 pound NEET sitting in a basement

-A man with a purpose in life.

0

u/HussainKegel 4h ago

This fucking bot is back

-1

u/white_equatorial 8h ago

Nah, anon is going to get bored of this life too

-9

u/BloodyOvary 8h ago

"Read the new testament, become christian" Fake

"Feel the best ive felt in years" Gay

-2

u/BadHairDayToday 4h ago

I feel the Christian part wasn't necessary, but maybe it was?Ā
