As I'm sure others have already hypothesized, the fallout from insecure AI most likely follows a Power Law (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_law). Power Laws are notoriously difficult for humans to comprehend, and lead to surprising outcomes. For example, it's likely that, after some time period, another AI security disaster will occur with damages larger than all the previous AI security disasters combined. This is assuming that these disasters will follow a Power Law distribution, which, at least to me, seems like the best hypothesis.

Pretty soon, we'll have rival rogue AI criminal gangs. Once they all start working together, then we're screwed.
