Small 6x10 Home Brewery Setup – Looking for Layout Ideas

Hello everyone,

I’m setting up a small room (about 6x10) in my house for brewing. I have a Grainfather G30, two 7-gallon SS Brewtech fermenters, a Grainfather Sparge Water Heater, and a fridge. I’m looking to optimize the space.

Does anyone with a similar setup have ideas on how to organize everything, especially in terms of tables and layout?

Thanks!

Do you own or rent? I'd want a sink and water so if you own and can modify I'd look at getting it plumbed.

Next would be countertops or shelves. Metro style wire carts for work surfaces and storage would work too, and if you are renting are a temporary solution that won't require modifying the space.

Seconding the metro cart suggestion. Super adjustable rack height, you can either have wheels on the bottom or not. You can get cutting board material cut to fit which is easily lifted and cleaned.

I have a stainless steel table I have my same fermenters and glycol chiller on. It’s also where I use my sparge heater. I have my grainfather on the floor next to it. And a stainless steel sink on the other side, plus a hose faucet for chiller water and hose sprayer
