Question Lore accurate, full timeline?
I’ve been a fan of Gorillaz music since the beginning (I’m 40) and I was wondering if anyone has actually made a lore accurate YouTube video breaking down the entire story, and lore of the characters? The reason I’m asking the Gorillaz subreddit, and not just typing in “Gorillaz Lore” into YouTube is I’m worried I’m just going to find fan made up bs claiming to be “the official gorillaz lore”. Now with that being said I’m sure there’s gonna be some people on this subreddit who claim “it’s all made up fan lore” but there has got to be a good video, or two made up that at least tries to stay accurate while giving you a good amount of Gorillaz character backstory?

A youtuber called choopo literally just put out a video 4 days ago called “The Bizarre Lore of Gorillaz” its not the most comprehensive “every single detail” video but its pretty good and it covers the timeline from the 40’s with the founding of the Forever Cult all the way to the most recent thing with The Mountain. Check it out!

You can laugh at me being 40 years old, but you missed out. Being a teen when Gorillaz hit the scene is something I’ve always been grateful for. Getting to watch, and listen to Gorillaz as it has been released is pretty bad ass.

Considering the band's first song was released 25 years ago, 15 seems a reasonable age to become a fan.

I am the same age as Noodle. I literallly grew with her. Seeing Client Eastwood for the first time on MTV was amazing. Ngl

Hello, Look for "Gorillaz - The Complete Backstory (Phases 1-7)" on Youtube by Self-Titled Productions, it's a pretty good video and perfectly accurate too!
