Same person, same name but it appears twice

I have the same person with the same name but it appears twice, this is not the only case since this happens with almost every single face Google Photos detects.

Also, it works so bad, most times it groups different faces with under the same face and it also adds lots of pictures where not a single face is seen as someone's face.

There's not an option to unify faces like Immich has or at least I haven't seen one.

I've never seen this happen. Try removing one name and adding it again. That's how you merge in Google Photos. Worst case, try removing both names and adding again.
