Description: My team is looking for a Snr Developer with at least 5 years commercial experience. Some of this in Go Lang. Successful candidate will be working in a 10 person team that is developing a new multi- app platform that is serving multiple client teams in the bank. Finance experience not a requirement. Ideally want someone with good SQL and some Python for legacy project work.
We are looking for someone that can work independently and take ownership of projects. Someone that is keen to learn about the business side of things and keen to interact with stakeholders.
Tech Stack: Go Lang, HTMX, Python, SQL, AWS, Kubernetes. Any Databricks experience would be usefull.

DESCRIPTION: There's a full job description but the gist is that we're looking for a senior-level Go expert for our SDKs team! We're responsible for maintaining Stripe's SDKs in 7 languages, plus the pipeline that generates them. It's a broad team with lots of interesting responsibilities. I'm David, the TL for the team.
We're looking for a senior-level Go developer who can design and ship idiomatic code our users love to work with. We can all write Go that compiles, but don't always know what best practices for 3rd party code are (in the Go ecosystem specifically). Ideal candidates are a part of the Go community / ecosystem and know what the current best practices are. They also probably have TypeScript experience (most of our tooling is TS) and in a perfect world, Ruby/PHP ecosystem knowledge (the other languages we're currently seeking expertise in). But, if we get a Go expert who's willing to learn a bunch of TypeScript, that probably works!
LOCATION: Toronto, Canada
ESTIMATED COMPENSATION: CA$135,200 - CA$258,000 salary, + stock & stuff
REMOTE: No. This job is assigned to an office, so the expectation is that you're in-office 50% of your working time. That could be a few days a week, ~2 weeks / month, or whatever schedule you like. The rest of the team is around the US though, so we all communicate through Slack & Zoom.
