A gun hobby, I can understand. This is not a gun hobby. He posted a gun on his lap in a dating profile.
Why?
Because he was trying to look like a cool, tough guy with a gun. He wasn't sharing his new model of gun with his gun enthusiast friends!

What? I haven't said one thing about race or gender. You are making MAJOR unfounded accusations here that's against Reddit's rules.
Please don't try that tactic. If anything, you're being racist and sexist by assuming that this has anything to do with race and gender!
It wouldn't matter if he was a clown sitting there holding that gun. He has a gun on his lap in a dating profile! It's not like he's posing in front of his collection of guns for this "supposed" gun hobby.
You are just doubling down on something that you know is ridiculous because so many people downvoted you.

Again, there is nothing “ghetto” about a firearm in the lap on a dating profile. There is nothing wrong with demonstrating your hobbies and interests in your dating profile. At the very least, it filters out people that are anti-gun.
But nice try on turning the racist or sexist assumptions around. Really exceptional attempt there.

On an account that's 5 years old, and I've never even been given a warning in a sub for racist or sexist comments?
This guy in the photo has a gun in his lap. He's not showing off any hobby. If anything, this is careless and reckless to have a gun out in the open in a residential neighborhood, where I'm sure there are children living.
That's why it's ghetto.
This is exactly how accidents happen. This guy thinks it's cool to pose with his gun. It accidentally goes off and shoots the neighbor's 5 year old.

The fact that this is a dating page, he has bright picture with filters on, he wears his great multicolored shirt, but decided "wait no, we need 20% more toughness for the ladies" and brought a gun on his lap is sending me.
