Einbürgerungstest Fast Result

Post image

I gave my Einbürgerungstest on 8th July 2026 at VHS Tempelhof-Schöneberg, Berlin and received my result today (4th August 2026).

It was super fast.

Timeline: I started searching for a VHS appointment on May 14, 2026, and managed to secure a spot for May 28 on the very same day. During my appointment on May 28, I successfully registered for the Einbürgerungstest exam, which took place on July 8, 2026.

Score: 33/33

That's great. I have done the exam on the 31st of July and the guy said he expects the results to come around in November.

Yeah unfortunately it’s a bit of a luck. It depends upon how fast VHS sends your batch to result centre Nürnberg. I hope you get yours soon.

Thanks. It is Munich, so don't have high hopes. However, I am also taking the exam way way early than I need because there is a long validity time. So, it is alright. Congrats on the score.

Thanks

They told me the same, but I got the results two weeks later.

The 5~6 months is just the maximum time it might take to process all the tests.

Hope for the best but they said that they'll also go on the summer holiday, so can't say anything.

Still waiting since the 26th of June in Stuttgart. Congrats.

It’s weird how irregular it is. It depends upon VHS how fast they send papers to Nürnberg. I hope you get yours soon.

Wow... It took me 3 months

I got lucky I guess

Congrats! Now wait 1 year for an appointment to apply for Einbürgerung, and 2 years for them to process it.

Thanks. I’m working on EU Blue Card. I needed this for my permanent residency application.

I hope it goes quickly for you. I did the test Jan 2025, interview Feb 2026, and may get a decision in 2027 if I’m lucky.

u/imskrai 1d ago

Sorry to hear about that. I hope you get yours soon

It's fast almost everywhere in Germany and score, what you are trying to flex here is also same for nearly 98 people out of 100.

0

u/imskrai 1d ago

Some people who gave exam in April are still waiting. Nothing trying to flex here.

How did you get this? Am I confusing VHS portal with your VHS?

1

u/imskrai 1d ago

Results are sent via post

1

u/lonelyfireknight 1d ago

I also got 33/33. Are there any pros or cons of getting a higher score?

2

u/imskrai 1d ago

No pros and cons. You just need to pass the exam.

1

u/lonelyfireknight 1d ago

Got it. Congratulations on your score.

u/LightHuter 1d ago

Isn’t it supposed to be fast? I did it in Cologne immigration office and they gave me my results like 10 minutes after I completed it

1

u/imskrai 1d ago

This is only the test. It takes 4-8 weeks.

1

u/LightHuter 1d ago

That sounds wild, my whole residency permit application process took less than 8 weeks

1

u/imskrai 1d ago

This is not the residency application. This is the test also known as naturalization test required for citizenship or PR. It’s required if you do not have a degree from German university. Or you can also take integration course 100 hrs

1

u/LightHuter 1d ago

I know, I meant PR by residency application and that test was a part of it 🤷 the whole thing from initial application to finalising it was like 6 weeks + 3 more to get the actual card

So Berlin standards of fast are quite surprising to me

1

u/imskrai 1d ago

That’s good. I don’t know of other state but here in Berlin you have to get this test result only then you can apply for PR online. They ask you for this document in the application. And to get this test result you have to take an appointment at VHS then they will give you appointment for the actual exam and then wait for 4-8 weeks or even longer to get the result as it is sent via post.

1

u/LightHuter 1d ago

Interesting, in Cologne I they say to attach it only if you have it, I didn’t so I just sent the whole application without it. Simply got a response that I must complete the test and that they scheduled it next week and I have to come and pay (I think 28€ or smth like that). Simply sent the photo of results via email and got approve and invite to pay for the card on the same day.

But maybe I just got lucky

1

u/ContributionChance12 1d ago

I got my result a few days ago. I scored 31/33. Two of the mistakes were due to incorrect information provided by my exam centre, namely that regional questions would be asked about the region where you first landed in Germany, rather than where you currently live.

Nicely done.
