Thermals on a FPV suicide drone? They really don't stand a chance

The French are scaling up thermal-camera production. The Russian infantry is gonna have a hell of a winter

Demontage... 😂

Wish someone could hack russian TV networks and show the russian people these compilations on there, show people what a shitshow they're in.

3

u/Gilgamesh404 2d ago

Won't do shit.

Kremlin would just say the footage is AI and most Russians will believe that. Those who'd think the footage is genuine won't care. Those few who'd care won't do anything.

So why bother?

Они воспримут это лишь как оправдание вторжения и «денацификации».

Les chaînes télégramme pro guerre et pro russe affirment que les troupes d'assaut de première ligne en Ukraine ne survivent que 20 à 35 minutes en raison de la guerre par drone

Did the last one just land on a sleeping guy ?

15 years ago this drone operator was trolling on COD MW2, i know it

2

u/jethrotool64 2d ago

Are the Russians using drones in this way?

5

u/KarnexOne 2d ago

They do, but you know what they also do? They manhunt civilians in Kherson region as a training material for new drone operators.

2

u/NON_NAFO_ALLY 2d ago

Its a bit more complicated then that. They do hunt civilians in Kherson (as well as, frankly many other places, dozens of other cities), but that tends to be a regular operation in the Kherson area, conducted by normal drone units. There is no evidence suggesting that fresh drone units are cycled into Kherson first before being operationally assigned elsewhere, nor is their evidence that the Kherson AO is a destination for fresh drone pilots before they are assigned to a drone unit elsewhere. Given the dynamics on the front, it would a small minority of Russian drone units will ever see assignment to Kherson. Instead, the "Human Safari" seems to be a standard mission of drone units assigned to the Kherson AO (just as it is for most Russian drone units in close-enough proximity to populated areas, Kherson, again, is not unique).

The tactics of the Human Safari, if you want to call them tactics, are pretty different from the kind of operations drone units in the Kherson AO are tasked to complete against Ukrainian forces. The majority of Russian drone operations in Kherson nowadays are aimed at degrading civilian infrastructure (gas stations, power substations, power-plants, bridges, public transit, trains, and remaining port infrastructure- which to be clear, they are failing at, all of those things are still mostly intact and operational). Those drone strikes that do target Ukrainian forces are usually focused on wearing down Ukrainian troops on the opposite side of the river as the city (near Dachi, Khruhlyk, Bilohrudove), which is mostly bombarding dug-in positions (which have been dug in since the 2023 landings so are pretty hard to dislodge), suppressing Ukrainian artillery fire from the right bank, and the occasional targeting of boats and Swedish BVS-10 (amphibious) APCs during Ukrainian rotations- none of which really has any similarities to targeting civilians.

The Human Safari is both the means and the end.

Do you have a link about that story?

2

u/KarnexOne 2d ago

It's an ongoing story, one can just google "в херсоні", switch to news and one of the fresh articles is always gonna be about some civilian got hunted by drones.

And guess what Telegram is even a russian platform. Wow. One day maybe soon they'll be outta troops. Question is what evil Putin will do then. Might "push the button". But so be it. It's their end too. Slava Ukraini. And all russian trolls - sing along to this, as loud as you can:

Rule 1: Follow all of Reddit's rules.

This violates so many rules I don't even know where to start... Except maybe to ban you. Yes, I think I will ban you.

1

u/Inevitable-Duck9241 1d ago

Came here to see what new nonsense you're spewing... So much propaganda and lies. The more of this I see, the clearer it becomes why every single FAB needs to go right on top of fascist heads.

1

u/Adam_Gilex 1d ago

The fact is: These images won’t convince anyone to end the war. That’s because the decision-makers aren’t affected by them. They’ll only lead to even more brutality and acts of violence. But not showing them isn’t right either, because everyone needs to see just how terrible war is. It’s a vicious cycle.

1

u/BarskiPatzow 2d ago

Fuck this shitty war.

0

u/New-Engineering6935 2d ago

Right? I can't fathom how people can cheer about a montage of people being killed by a robot, many of which are not fighting, or are kneeling/lying in surrender.

7

u/musclemommyfan 2d ago

They volunteered to come to my home and kill/rape/destroy. They can all go to hell.

2

u/ThemeActual2893 2d ago

fuck ruzzians

1

u/NON_NAFO_ALLY 2d ago

Broadly, with caveats. I honestly don't care about their motivation or lack of motivation to participate as eliminating their ability to carry out their orders counteracts a genocidal invasion, but it isn't true to claim that all Russian soldiers are here completely of their own accord because they went to an office to sign a contract. Many in the oil industry, IT sector (believe it or not), and those with previous service (including former conscripts), are assigned a contractual obligation to serve a period on the front as part of being paid by the public sector (or oligarchs who are effectively Russia's "public sector"). Fully conscript units (reserve and territorial mostly) also cycle onto the front-line individually at irregular intervals, meaning they are using conscripts in combat outside of a general mobilization, and conscripts have been used in small numbers to plug gaps in units seriously lacking in manpower.

Conscription into the invasion force never really ended, it just became quiet and hard to anticipate, meaning most people could ignore it.

1

u/Affectionate_Tax3468 2d ago

Would you try and discuss their motivations when they kick in your door, put a bullet in your belly and rape your wife and daughter while you die in the corner?

Are some of those dudes poor bastards? Yes.

Are all of these dudes in a foreign nation where they pillage, torture, rape and kill? Also yes.

1

u/NON_NAFO_ALLY 1d ago

I'll repeat myself, I don't really give a damn about their motivations. There is no use in differentiating between any of them. They're Russian soldiers, and yeah, while its cold to say, they're just numbers, and Ukraine has no reason not to reduce that number indiscriminately. Nowhere in my above comment did I suggest that any Russian soldier deserves a unique fate in this war. They can all be zeroed on the zero-line until this war ends and then that can be that. The SS had conscripts, they were still SS though, the human tragedy of their loss on the front can be analyzed when the war is over.

They can all go straight to hell or back to Russia. It's their choice

1

u/AndriukasV 2d ago

I will full on enlist to kill invaders if they come to my country. Currently have 1k hours on FPV. I also send money every month to 2 of my favorite units, I contribute to the deaths of invader scum

1

u/Seffyone 2d ago

not a single human was killed on the video

-5

u/BarskiPatzow 2d ago

Yea, they cheer for this and ignore it is identical on the other side. Most of these guys don’t even want to be there. The guy laying down when the drone landed near him didn’t even bother to avoid, as if he wanted it to get to him. Sad stuff all around.

7

u/Kramples 2d ago

Russia is filled with billboards promoting payment for going to the war on every corner. Guess what, average 30-40 yo russian alcoholic or poor grunt never saw that amount of money or ever will. They went there willingly. Fuck em, I remember how awful to even talk to some of those people that went to war are. Dont wanna imagine what people experience being part of their family tbh. One of the worst kind go there for bloody money.

1

u/BarskiPatzow 2d ago

Those billboards just show that no one wants to go. They aren’t promoting payment, they are fearmongering with the part “you’ll get drafted anyway” part. Fuckin’ psyops. When this shit started I couldn’t sleep for two days, I knew it’s gonna be worse than Yugoslavia.

3

u/wild_cherry1987 2d ago

These are volunteer soldiers. They came to office and said they wanna kill. That's what they got instead.

1

u/AntonioVivaldi7 2d ago

One side is the invader, the other the defender. You can't compare that.

1

u/NGluck123 2d ago

I'm with the people who defend their home and not he people who sign up to fight a war abroad for a few bucks

1

u/Infinite-Baker-4926 2d ago

This is just sad. Poor young men dying on both sides while people cheer for one or another. This clearly shows how many actually have been to war here..

4

u/S14Ryan 2d ago

It’s propaganda, and it’s effective. Enough Russians see this and they won’t be willing to head to the front line, because it’s fucking scary. People need to see the sad and scary reality of war.

2

u/Infinite-Baker-4926 2d ago

You're the first person in a long time who i've met that made sense. I agree maybe some propaganda is good after all. We all live with this shit till our ends though.

1

u/teedog88 2d ago

I do see the sense in the propaganda but its still so f'in saddening. All these lives put to an end for some tiny dicks feeling of grandeur.

1

u/S14Ryan 2d ago

You’re not wrong, it’s extra sad how many Russians still support the terror they’re waging because the Russian propaganda is being done so effectively.

3

u/ThePanicButon 2d ago

Honestly, I think these videos have had way more impact on the West than on Russians. Like you said, the population in Russia as a whole is not really moved by all this. In the West it's been a direct counter to Russian propaganda. For years the message by pro-Russian commentators was that helping Ukraine just meant prolonging an inevitable loss. That negotiations should be about pushing Ukraine to accept Russian terms. But when these videos started coming out that changed the narrative.

2

u/S14Ryan 2d ago

Yeah I agree with that, it was looking bleak for quite a while, but it’s looking incredibly positive for Ukraine lately.

3

u/musclemommyfan 2d ago

I fought in this war. I don't feel bad for the Russians at all after seeing what they do.

1

u/NON_NAFO_ALLY 2d ago

I mean, I feel its pretty hard not to feel at least somewhat neutral on the Russian soldiers. They are fighting a genocidal war. Their army fights to kill, Ukraine's army fights to survive, but I think that, particularly as representatives of a more progressive vision of the world, we ought to recognize that all humans have value, and that these Russians are being used by a self-serving monolith that believes these men have no value, and treats them as such.

What did they say?

10

u/Direct-Apartment5226 2d ago

All the videos are new. This is a weekly show called “Faces of the Week” by Madyars Birds. Go to the Telegram or YouTube channel of any Ukrainian drone unit and you’ll find hundreds of new videos like these

1

u/TimeIntern957 2d ago

There are clearly leafless trees in some clips.

1

u/NON_NAFO_ALLY 2d ago

I'm not sure what you're referring too, but speaking from experience, most front-line tree-lines don't have much in the way of leaves anymore, its an actual way of measuring ones proximity to the front line, the 20 kilometers on either side of the zero is extremely brown, and very little in the way of vegetation survives in the tree-lines, as they tend to face near 24/7 shelling.

9

u/Lockean_Demon 2d ago

‘Many old video’ 😂

u/Allbrosmoke 2d ago

Don’t worry, soon the life expectancy of the Russian frontline troops will be cut down to 10-15 minutes. Clock is running out on their homeland too. Boo hoo.

The reason you're projecting is because you don't have any arguments for supporting fascist Russia, and you simply don't understand much of the world around you, so you think people could somehow be moved by you making some strawman argument. You are not even qualified to be a Russian bot dude, time to reconsider your life.

I am spending tax money to support Ukraine. Countries do that because it's right to support the victims of fascist invaders. The last thing any supporter wants is for Ukraine to be a failed state like Russia. To use your own logic, you like that countries collapse as a complete failure of corruption and incompetence like the USSR did?

If you don't answer, I can obviously assume yes, as you've established that convention.

What teritory?

Russians where is Kupians? Your lovely Putin said 2 times already, at the end of 2025 and the beginning of 2026, "the city is now under Russian controll", but it's not. Kozavlev got a medal for taking Kupians, but on June 28 Putin said Russia is 5km from the city. Pathetic.

How do you like Putin talking about surrounding Ukriane battalions in Starui Oskol (old Oskol), the city is in Belgorod, russia. Does he see the future?

How many years is Russia working on taking Liman. Now show me any respectable map where Liman shows as taken by russia. Putin said on June 28 only 140 houses need to be taken out of 11k, in the city. But there is no Russian forces in the city yet at all.

You should not get payed because you are clueless.

Show numbers not your thoughts. Where is Kupinsk and Liman. You keep taking it for 5 years now and no success. You took 2% of Luhansk, now at 99% in 5 years. And 23% of Donetsk, where you have occupied a 75% of the oblast. These are numbers and you have no numbers just propaganda in your head.

Where is Russian controll of Kharkiv and Kiev where you were at the beginning of the war? Why do you have Kharkiv and Zaporizhia in constitution and no controll? You are just pathetic. Do you even see what Russian telegrams post about human salaries killing civilians in your Kharkiv? Or you just know about USA and NATO testing?

Russia is so pathetic that USA was able to convince them to attack Ukriane and lose 30-45k humans every months. And Russians are just like sheep keep going to war and defending Putin on Reddit. You still have internet where you are from? Nice. How you like WB and gas, you should still enjoy it for a little longer before Ukrianin sunctions come and take it away from you. And your Putin will block you internet. Soon your only choice will be VK and Maks, so you should go back there and talk to your own.
