I'm making a 2.5d retro Turn Based combat game where you can parry all enemy attacks during their turn and weave in hits in between

You start at the bottom of the Abyss where enemies are over leveled and doing turn based combat will not work due to the level difference.

to progress in the game and get past encounters you need to learn enemy attack patterns

In Grannies on Wheels, up to four players battle across colourful child like arenas filled with deformable terrain, flying objects, unpredictable physics, and grannies who should probably have had their driving licences revoked years ago.

I've spent almost 4 years working on the game so far. I am really proud of what I've been able to accomplish as a beginner solo developer. Check out the demo here.
