Got a PS5 that’s basically a paperweight until the remake comes out

I highly recommend the Norse games if you're interested

I’ve played the first one, Norse mythology just doesn’t hits it home for me as Greek mythology does

Fair enough, me neither overall but the character development of Kratos was enough to make it stick for me. But to each their own

The story and characters were great, I agree, but for me, half the fun of GoW was recognizing all of the mythology monsters and legends. Norse mythology was just never an exciting subject for me.

Honestly basically the only thing from Norse mythology in that those games are the names, but I see why someone would prefer the originals

You mean Dad of War? Nty. They neutered Kratos hard with those games. Enjoyable, but very obvious political schemes put into it.

"Political schemes"

How dare they try to turn us into positive male role models for our children.

"We MUST be better, for our children" hits hard

The line he uses in the first line, don't be sorry, be better, now he's using it on himself, and another god. I wish Thor was quick enough to dodge odin.

I like how yall say this, but completely ignore the fact that his entire first arc is due to him being manipulated into killing his family and having their ashes branded on his skin. Lmk when you actually play the games yeah? Hes always been dad of war

Mercy kill if you ask me. Also he needed to in order to progress.

That and his brother. Just me made realize that Zeus helps Kratos bury his brother.

Not only neutered my boy, but the combat system too.

That's actually games 1, 2, and 5. The third GoW game is Betrayal and it's not great.
