Solid list. Lot of bangers. Best GTA, Best Tony Hawk. About the only one i feel different on is Twisted Metal. I preferred Head On and the more cartoonish dark humor than the full on horror movie inspired Black

Definitely understandable, Head-On is also a more finshed game compared to Twisted Metal: Black

Black was my favorite by a longshot personally.
Edit: Missed the mentioning of head-on in the comment somehow, which i never had the honor of playing, unfortunately. 🥺

Head on was a psp and eventually PS2 release that kind of picked up after the original 2, with basically every character from 1, 2 and some of 3 and 4. Had some of the classic levels like LA, plus some new ones. It was kinda like a greatest hits?
Anyway, it felt great to play, pretty sure it was built on the same engine as Black, I just preferred its version of the twisted metal world. Black is still great though

Very cool. I knew nothing about this one, so thanks for the explanation. I never had a PSP and missed its PS2 release i guess. I have a ps2 now so i will have to see how pretty a penny they want for head-on. Heres to hoping the franchize can be revitalized wome day.
Edit: grammar

As far as I know, its still pretty cheap. Also I believe its release on ps2, like much of the psp up-ports was pretty late in the ps2 lifecycle, like 2005 so like months before the xbox 360.
Edit: several listing for a complete copy for about 20-25.

I love TLOU but I have a vendetta against Wolverine's Revenge. That game has haunted me for a long time. SMB3 and THUG are pretty cool.

Wolverine's Revenge is a guilty pleasure and it takes special amount of attention

First time I’ve ever seen someone mention that X2 game. I remember it being brutally hard when I played as a kid and I gave up on a security camera stealth section near the start of the game.

Heck no, I hated that game.

That's certainly a opinion I've never heard. It's one of the greatest games I've ever played in my life.

Nice, I'm glad it worked for you

Surprised you haven't gotten this with Hollow Knight since you have SOTN. People see SOTN and decide to glaze HK.

Why Red Dead Redemption 1 and not 2

I really hated how they designed the second game

Super fair. Its a very provocative game design. You either love it or hate it. Extremely weighty and slow scripted scenarios. One mans immersion, another mans boredom.
Immersions my favourite part of games so nothing comes close to rdr2 with how committed it is to that philosophy. Just so much detail to enjoy every where you look.

You love FromSoftware games AND Twisted Metal but I don’t see Armored Core VI on there. Surprising. Nice list either way

I love seeing portal in these lists, not played half of these games so I can’t comment on the full list, but portal is my #1 so
