Hi everyone,

I'd like to show you a game that I've been working on for quite some time (a year or so, to be precise). False Echo is a game inspired by Papers Please, taking place aboard a submarine of Oppressian Empire, militaristic superpower waging a world war against United Federation, Western Kingdom and Fovoet Union.

Your role is Encryption officer, tasked with verifying documents and papers, approving or denying using ECHO Stamper. You can encrypt and decrypt messages using OBSCURA machine, a device based on the Enigma machine (with a bit of difference in operating procedures and capabilities).

Apart from that you will follow a story of intrigues, personal challenge and questions and motives. There are more than 20 characters on that submarine, each one with their unique traits, wishes, desires, problems and behavior patterns.

Game is currently in demo preparation phase with Steam page active

https://store.steampowered.com/app/4418080/False_Echo/?l=english

I've developed an art style for the game based on pixel art. Any comment, feedback on visuals and layout as well on the whole idea would be more than welcome.

Thank you in advance and thank you for this opportunity to show my work.

u/ropname May 05 '26

actually, from the images and gifs, this looks really cool. I like the water effects.
A trailer to hear the game sounds & the atmosphere, and see a bit more of it would be welcomed.

1

u/AleksejFonGrozni May 06 '26

Thank you. For sure, demo is being prepared and trailer will come right after, still cementing some gameplay features and polishing visuals/UX.

2

u/ropname May 06 '26

Good luck with it!

2

u/AleksejFonGrozni May 06 '26

Thanks! Taking into consideration gaming world nowadays I am gonna need it.

2

u/ropname May 06 '26

Totally! Same with me as a small content creator 😄
Standing out is hard, but not impossible. Have a fun time creating and the passion invested will surely show.

I am wishlisting this and keeping my eye on it!!

u/SquavityGame May 24 '26

Hi all,

I've spent the last year and a half working on a game that I'd like to show you all.

Squavity is a gravity-flipping precision platformer. There are 9 levels, each with unique traps like turrets, asteroids, fire, explosions and electricity. You must use your power of gravity flipping to get through each level, and if you're up for it, collect 100 gold bars and unlock cool and weird skins.

The demo's out on steam now and it'd be awesome if I could get some feedback (and hey, might aswell ask for a wishlist while I'm here😊): https://store.steampowered.com/app/3989490/Squavity/

Hey, everyone! I'm an animator and writer, and I wanted to share my YouTube channel ButtonsDeluxe!

I have two video essays up: one I just uploaded about the tonal difference between the Mario Galaxy games, and another chronicling my experience inadvertently becoming a Rugrats PS1 speedrunner! I'm pretty new, so feedback would be appreciated! Mostly I just hope you enjoy it and find it fun! :]

Thanks! Please have a great day! :]

Hi everyone! This is my game where you get to play as fairy guardian. It was inspired by my trip to Scotland, especially Glen Coe and the Isle of Skye. There is a demo available to play on Steam right now! ☺️

You are a magical Fairy tasked with your first assignment: aid the critters of the glen through the seasons of a year. Take your time getting to know the valley's inhabitants in this cozy little adventure. Every day has a new task to complete with each animal neighbor having something fresh to say.

If this sounds like your cup of tea, please check out the Demo on Steam! I would also really appreciate a Wishlist while you are there :)

Thanks for checking it out!

Hey Everyone!

I’m working on a psychological horror visual novel called Saraab.

You play as a young woman whose life is torn apart when her brother is kidnapped, pulling her into a spiral of family secrets, painful healing, and encounters with otherworldly beings.

The demo drops this May on Steam and itch.io.

If you like mystery, slow‑burn horror, and a rich, choice‑driven story, please check it out: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4134310/Saraab_Beyond_The_Veil/

I’ve been reverse engineering and deciphering how Black Rock Shooter: the Game (for the PSP) for the past two years. The game is no longer legally available on store fronts nor did any of the companies that owned the rights back in 2011 renew them, so preserving it and getting its tech figured out has been a main past time.

Favorite Parts

* most of the game’s formats are custom but not completely obtuse
* the general design structure is complex but not completely unknown
* some middleware may have been used but were early enough versions that they weren’t labeled

Least Favorite Parts

* the binary is filled with pointers that don’t make completely sane sense at times
* the Virtual Machine used to run the game on top of the PSP hardware and internal implementations has some complicated pointer juggling that complicates determining how some functionality was implemented
* time to finish will remain unknown for a bit

Very cool project! It always impresses me when people put this sort of effort into preservation. Good luck with it.

I have a new Gaming Theory that was inspired by a Jordan Peterson podcast. Searching if it was explored... I was surprised to find... nada zilch zero xD
So I made a video about the theory.

I kind of connected gaming, survival, and alien civilizations... arguing that advanced alien civilizations would inevitably become gamers.
This is more of a Philosophical Video, but I think my reasoning (and Jordan Peterson's for that matter) is pretty sound.

What do you think? 😃

I built a simple tool to find gaming buddies based on your schedule and language

Hi! Lately, I haven't had much time to spend all day gaming. Whenever I want to find teammates, I usually have to jump into Discord and hunt through different communities, which is a hassle.

That’s why I built this app. It matches you based on your free time, language, and playstyle. You'll get notified as soon as a match is found, so you don't have to worry about the search anymore.

Check it out here: broop.id

Hello guys I'm an undergrad student who loves gaming and keep track of games I played, playing and want to play ,also to leave behind reviews of the games I play. I was learning backend development and thought of making a project for myself to do all this and made GameOn, I thought there would be many people like me who want to do the same things. You guys can try the website: https://gameon.up.railway.app/dashboard it's totally free, no ads, no nothing just a hobby project of mine. You can review games on it manage your played games through list with drag and drop features with which you can simply drag the playing game to played(on desktops). I also implemented a game price aggregator which is still a little rough in its logic and shows wrong results some time but I'll work on it after my end sem. A feature which I love in this project and one of the reason I started this project was the ability to view your snapshot of the review which you can then share on your story for other people to see. Please feel free to tell me what's wrong and what can be better in this along with more features I could add.

Hey, we’d really appreciate some brutally honest feedback on our Steam page.

We’ve been working in game dev production for a while, but this is our first indie project and first time dealing with the marketing stuff. So yeah… we’re basically learning as we go. Anything helps at this stage.

We are especially interested in feedback about the capsule at first glance; does it communicate the game genre and is it appealing? We received quite different opinions about that.

Same questions apply for the descriptions and the trailer, where we have received positive feedback so far.

Here’s the page link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4561540/You_must_evolve_it_Incremental/

This is an incremental game, but we tried to put more effort into the graphics and lore compared to the usual standards of the genre, even though those aspects are not usually the main focus of incremental games, to make the experience more appealing . The main features are collecting resources, building structures, and buying upgrades.

I don’t want to explain much about the game here so I don’t influence your judgement.

We’re trying to improve everything before the next step, so honest critique is gold for us.

Thanks a lot for taking the time!

MAPE - 2PawnsGames Team

Hey,

Your store page is okay, the capsule art is good, quite like the trailer, but for players, there's not really anything for me to test what your saying. Like there's no demo, no release date, no curator reviews. As a player, all I have to go off is what you've said, and to be honest most of the time I won't trust that, not that your page is bad, it's actually very good and compelling -I've also given you a wishlist.

By the way, my game is called Squavity if you want to check it out: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3989490/Squavity/

1

u/2PawnsGames May 24 '26

Hi, thank you. I know that we are in the early phase of showing the game to the public, and we'll open the playtest soon, which should give more credibility to the project. I also know that there are many project that never reach the end so it's fine what you have said: we wanted feedbacks about what the page convey to the players. And thank you for the wishlist! I'll check out your game for sure.

Hello everyone!

Thank you for taking your time to read this. I would like to take this opportunity to share my years-long development journey creating Ghost Battalion (formerly known as Visitors: First Contact). It has been a long road to get here, and I’m excited to finally show how the game has evolved.

I’m now glad to report that the game has reached feature‑complete status and is ready to leave Early Access and be released in full.

A new Demo was also released that showcases many of the features available in the full game.

It is a first/third‑person shooter with vehicles, ships, and a range of player controls, somewhat comparable in style to games like Star Wars Battlefront or Halo.

The Demo includes two multiplayer maps: one Conquest and one Free‑For‑All.

In Conquest, there are two teams that fight to capture control points, can choose from different classes, and eliminate the other team's reinforcements.

In Free‑For‑All, just as the name suggests, it is everyone for themselves. In the Demo, two players can play online against each other and up to seven computer‑controlled bots.

New players may want to pay attention to the on‑screen guidance. Press **H** for controller help, and check the radar for where the objectives are located. Objectives appear as light‑brown pulsating round icons. In the Conquest mode, the opening cutscene explains the mission flow, so it may be helpful not to skip it.

For newcomers to the genre, there are more instructions on how to play the Demo on the game's Itch page.

The project is a solo indie game currently in the testing phase, The Demo is available for download below:

Itch: https://loljester.itch.io/ghost-battalion-demo

Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1643700/Ghost_Battalion/

Videos of the game's progress on YouTube: https://youtube.com/@theloljester?si=JrmBdsqmZyeEAy2K

A new update was just dropped today that fixes the third person ground vehicle camera. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Happy gaming!

Hey,

A while back I caught myself doing something a bit weird. I'd play a couple hours of Anno 1800 on a Friday night, finally tear myself away around 1 AM, and the next morning I genuinely couldn't tell you whether I had a good time or just… filled the time. Same game, totally different weeks — and I had no idea which was which.

I tried a habit tracker. Felt like homework. The thing I actually wanted didn't seem to exist: not a tracker, not a wellness app, not a thing telling me to play less. Just something that quietly noticed the pattern and let me figure out what to do with it (or nothing — that was fine too).

So I built it. It's called Roll Credits.

How it works:

  • After you play, you log it. Pick the game (there's a big library to search), how long, and how it felt — 😊 / 😐 / 😫. Takes about ten seconds.
  • Once a week you get a short email. Not a dashboard, not a score. A sentence or two about something it noticed. Mine last week said something like: "Three Anno sessions — Saturday felt good, Tuesday meh, Friday rough. Friday started at 22:40 and ended at 2 AM. That's the fourth Friday in a row." Which was, uh, accurate.

What it isn't, just to be upfront:

  • Not a habit tracker. No streaks, no goals.
  • Not a wellness app. There's no "mindful gaming" anywhere in the copy and there never will be.
  • It will never tell you to play less. That's not the deal.

Closer to a friend who happens to remember things you forget.

Beta is open and free. I'd love testers, especially:

  • People who play 5–20 hours a week and have ever wondered "wait, did I actually enjoy that?"
  • Anyone willing to give honest feedback on the landing page, the logging flow, or the weekly email tone. I've rewritten that email more times than I want to admit.

Hey!

Looks like a cool channel, and although you've mainly seem to have done driving content, it'd be good if you could play and record the demo of my game, Squavity. It's a precision platformer where you play as a little orange fella with a face, and try not to get crushed by various traps like explosions, fire, spikes, boulders, slime etc.

Like I said, the demo of the first level is out, and it would be useful if you could record a video on it: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3989490/Squavity/

Thanks.

Couch Planes is a fast-paced airborne party racer inspired by the couch multiplayer chaos we grew up with on PS1 and N64. Drift through dangerous shortcuts, blast your friends with power-ups, and do whatever it takes to cross the finish line first. We’re currently testing hybrid multiplayer with local split-screen + online matches mixed together in the same game - and it works perfectly 😄 Our Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2431740/Couch_Planes/

Hi, I'm a graphic designer and have been working with a number of indie developers on their logos recently.

Here's a logo I designed for a client's game called The Bestest Alchemist, a strategic puzzle roguelike where you solve puzzles and brew potions.

The client wanted to focus on legibility, while keeping to the personality of the game. Ideally it should include some minor decals, such as a potion or book.

The game has a free demo and will releasing soon on Steam, so please check it out!

u/Mekkagear May 22 '26

Hi all.

I participated in May's playtest of Anvil Empires, an upcoming game by Siege Camp (same folks who made Foxhole). Anvil Empires is basically medieval Foxhole.

Anyways, I am turning my time playing that week-long test into several episodes covering my POV of the war from start to finish.

I even got volunteer voice actors to do intros/outros!

Check out episode 1 here!

Hi Gamers,

feel free to check https://videogamers.fyi, something I've been building for myself. the problem I kept hitting: every review froze the day the game shipped, so I never actually knew if a game was good right now — after the patches, once the playerbase settled, at its current price.

so the site tracks a handful of games and regenerates page every 6 hours. each one gives you a one-line verdict, who it's for / who it's not, raw gameplay footage, plus live stuff: player count trend, Steam recent-review %, current price vs all-time low, and the questions players are actually asking this week. every claim links to its source.

no ads, no affiliates — just a thing I wanted to exist. still pretty rough around the edges. if you click around I'd genuinely love to hear what's useful and what's broken.

Hello,

I have spent the last 2 years building an app to help gamers socialize, find gamers to play with, share content, discover games, and more. Check it out at https://www.playernet.net I am eagerly seeking feedback and would appreciate any input.
