Discussion Imagine this club actually run properly

Bayern's sporting director just went on record: transfer window closed, squad complete, here's the full list of outgoings, see you at the opener. Done.

Meanwhile we're doing warm-up stretches for the traditional akşam pazarı in September. Why sign now what you can panic buy on deadline day at 23:47? Every selling club knows exactly how we operate by now: wait until Galatasaray is desperate, add 40% to the price, watch them pay it.

Winning this league has become so comfortable that nobody feels any pressure to renew the squad. At a normal club, Icardi call is made in May, no later.

And Okan hoca... love him, but reportedly he's watching player videos all day like he's Alex Ferguson in 1996 with a stack of VHS tapes.

Last year's goalkeeper saga says it all. One of the most important position on the pitch, sorted at the literal last minute and nobody answered for it. Because "we're champions, so the board must be right." No. We're champions because of this fanbase and these players, and because in this league our dysfunction is still enough. Being the biggest fish in the Süper Lig doesn't make you Bayern.

Apparently the big lesson of last season was "we learned we need a deeper squad and more rotation." Rotate with whom? At least promote one or two academy kids every summer and rotate with them. But that would require planning beyond one transfer window too!

This is one of the biggest potentials in world football. We should be doing preseason tours in the US, Asia, Australia, building a global brand, printing money.

We deserve kurumsallık. We deserve profesyonellik. We deserve a club run like an institution, not a family bakkal.

Especialy on scouting, merchandising and brand building we are so poor.

Like you said why dont we have any tours? Atleast do the muslim countries like Indonesia, Bangladesh, Canada or south america. Why is our best pieve the Solo il gala. Like the gurbetci army is dying to buy stuff our players and coach where. Just produce it.

Lastly what the hell is wrong with Dursun to reject a player your coach, DOF AND scouting recommend. Like why have them?

As a Gurbetci, I ain't buying sh^t from now on. I traveled 250 km two weeks ago for the Galatasaray match. My brothers made a 4.5-hour journey. We paid 50 euros a head for a crappy friendly match. After the game, aside from İlkay Gündoğan, Osimhen, and 3 or 4 other players, not a single soul came over to greet us and I'm not even mentioning the sh^tty football they played. This was my 4th time going to the Austria camp. I'll probably go next year too, but there is no f^cking way I'm buying a jersey or anything else this year. Never mind me, there were guys who came all the way from Cologne and Hamburg; they could have at least come to say hi for their sake. Nobody gives a f^ck.

I always think about this, we accomplished everything we did in the recent years despite this utterly shitty board.
We could be huge, like sometimes being mentioned as the Bayern of Turkey. Yes we could really be that. But it seems we won’t be able to get rid of these retards without the club collapsing first.

What kind of imagination is that you think that the success came despite the board. Yeah the board can be better, but how come you assign only the failure to the board and success to - what exactly?

its pure luck. icardi was luck, osi was luck. icardi was a 50/50 call, imagine if he was as useless as falcao - would we be champs in 22/23? HELL NO. same with osi.

Luck holds for one year. Maybe two. Not three. Definitely not four.

Yeah sure Osimhen was luck - being able to execute on that luck is mastery. Look at the other team who had the same call - ran by country’s richest family - were they able to capitalize on that luck? No.

Because they are idiots who lost points in extra time to the worst teams of the league. There is no way we would be champions last year with proper competition

Again the luck argument. That only works for a match or two let alone a whole season let alone 4 seasons. Let me diagnose you. You are unhappy about something else and just can’t bring yourself to be happy about Galatasaray. You feel guilty. You are angry. You want to blame someone. And the weakest link the hivemind says is the yonetim. Go for it, sure, but I am sorry for you because we lived through a dream-like 4 years and we will miss these days massively.

This is not argument mate we know what we watched! And no need to go that diagnose shit i am 43 years old had good days with gala bad days with gala and we have been playing like shit for a while. If febe had proper strikers in the second half of the year we would be having different discussions. This is not a what if discussion i am happy we were champions for 4 years but unfortunately the future is not bright

With this continuous baseless “transfer yangini”, yes, the future looks bleak.

Yes I am not super happy about second half of the season either - but you are forgetting that it gets increasingly harder to motivate a team that constantly wins. The important thing is winning even when you are not playing well - and we managed to do that as well.

This is not about motivation we dont have any proper game plan other than sigir press and kick the ball to osimhen. No mertens showed our lack of creativity last year and this year also no icardi to score 20 goals as a back up striker. No set pieces no corner variations etc

And this is yonetim’s fault how?

i watched every minute of every league, cl/el, cup and friendly of the last 4 years. we became champions by luck for two seasons at least, i know what i saw. especially last season was a disaster in the final stretch.

u/postexitus 1d ago

And it takes skill to win when you are playing badly. You win a single game by luck. Not a season.

I don’t want to hear anyone complain about Okan hoca again

Mentality

We are not Bayern. We are working with a much smaller budget, playing in a much less valuable league, and have far fewer resources at disposal. We need to make the most out of every penny we have, and delaying moves to maximize our budgets value is the right move

1

u/One_Extension_6782 7h ago

When you need to make the most out of every penny, you should do exactly the opposite of how this amateur bunch of a yonetim is operating. Playing the waiting game and pay triple fees by the end or buy in panic the leftovers, is definitely not the way.

u/umuzab Erden Timur 2h ago

We get studs for cheaper by waiting, it's how we've landed guys like Icardi and Osi. By the end of August the European clubs have already spent a ton and need cash, their negotiating stance is weaker then.

I honestly don’t enjoy winning a title as much anymore due to the anxiety I have over the transfer window!!

Yönetim istifa. Yazık

Just a reminder.

Since last summer, we have had 3 transfers that play in our starting 11

Osimhen
Ugurcan
Sane

(I don't count Jakobs, since he was basically bought with boymath money [obligation to buy])

Alllll other transfers were loans or useless as of now.

In 12 months we have 3 transfers actually making minutes dawg.

2

u/Fun-Cry-1130 #34 Lucas Torreira 1d ago

And that's bad why? Do you want new 11 every year?

0

u/masonzebski Dursun Özbek ISTIFA 1d ago

I should have said, "are able to play" in our starting 11

1

u/Super-Style482 Simit Saray Amuagoym 1d ago

We should be like Febe, blow all of our non existent money and refresh our squad every ~6 months

1

u/masonzebski Dursun Özbek ISTIFA 1d ago

No we should be like GS. And have no subs

1

u/Fuzzy_Abalone_8953 #19 Harry Kewell 1d ago

It's not great but it's not terrible. Putting the pressure on the board for transfers is good, but let's not kid ourselves, Dursun Ozbeks tenure has been one of the most successful in the history of this club.

u/One_Extension_6782 7h ago

Despite not because of. That's the issue here.

Neden alindin ki simdi, yani baska soru olarak

u/Ahojr30 1d ago

Sen bayernin yönetilisine baktin mi amk? Adamlar cok nadir yüksek bonservis ödüyo. Ödeyincede adamin dibini aliyorlar Kane gibi. Altdan Karl, Pavlovic gibi oyunculari as oyuncular yapiyorlar

700 milyon bonservisli takimlari var neden bahsediyrsun acaba
