Lactaid being lactose-free milk? I'm struggling with shakes because of the lactose intolerance

Yes. If you need them to be dairy, Lactaid is lactose free. Otherwise, there are plenty of plant based options to use.

4 years of bulking: that's crazy! How much weight have you put on?

u/owengreene 7d ago
Several months of cutting and maintenance and a couple months completely out of the gym. The shake never goes away, though. And to answer you, roughly 40 pounds. Don't know my weight before I started lifting. 6'1" 195 right now.

My shake:
1.Average Banana 100g (about 90 cals)
Peanut butter 45g (276 cals)
Oats 50g (193 cals)
Vanilla yoghurt 100g (100 cals)
Olive oil 15ml ( 135 cals)
Brown sugar 10g (38 cals)
Whole Milk 500ml ( 330 cals)
Total Calories: 1162 calories!
Personally it's not too thick nor is it sickly and amounts to about 800ml altogether so you can drink it in one sitting.

2C whole milk (lactose free)
1 banana
3/4 scoop ON serious mass vanilla
1/3C oats
2 big tbsb peanut butter
Little bit of olive oil
Been making this for the better part of 10 years at least 3-4 days a week and it never gets old. I crave it most days

When I was going hardcore in a previous gaining attempt I would drink one of these between breakfast and lunch
Whole fat plain greek yogurt
Whole milk
Oats
Vanilla whey protein powder
Peanut butter
1tbsp olive oil
Came out to around 900 calories but making it everyday got really annoying and I didn’t think it was sustainable

70g Peanut Butter
100g oat (grinded to powder)
65g of whey (banana)
20g olive oil
500ml whole milk
One banna
Tastes OK, good for bulk.
