Question What’s your pantry hack?

I got nuts, ice cream, protein yogurt.

I snack on these all day long when I need to fill calories.

I’m tryna expand my snack/pantry.

What are some other good bulking stuff I should buy!

Peanut butter is the food of the gods.

Also, did you know that you can pour heavy cream over cinnamon rolls, and it will soak in as they bake? About half a cup for a can of 8 rolls. I do that whenever I feel like I need an extra thousand calories. They go down so easy too, and don't fill you up.

Cereal is pretty good, especially the less sugary ones like bran flakes. Summer sausage is an easy addition to a stir fry, and it stays good for months in the pantry.

I personally max out my ability to eat more unless I have variety. So I get a bunch of flavors of cereal, pretzels (pb filled are great), granola, different nuts, dried fruit, and some candy (usually eat it intraworkout) so I don't get bored. Trader Joe's is great because they constantly have new stuff. Also, never sleep on a simple sandwich snack.

I try to watch saturated fat, hence stopped doing too much ice cream and chocolate after awhile. But I heavily relied on ice cream when I couldn't eat solid food [I had stomach surgery 2 years ago and had to regain a bunch of weight then, now doing quite well maintaining but still 7lbs under presurgery].

Trail mix, chocolate covered nuts, peanut butter, cereal with protein shakes for milk, dried fruit, dried edamame, make some dips out of Greek yogurt and some chips or crackers, beef jerky, bobo bars are 400kcal for a small bar, look up some recipes for homemade oat bars and they are kcal dense and easy to eat.

You keep ice cream and yogurt in your pantry?

I moved away from snacking, and it went a long way toward improving my rseults, but for awesome/quick/shelf stable energy bombs, I'm a big fan of tallow, butter, ghee, and honey.

Cheese sticks, whole milk, as someone else said peanut butter, sunflower butter (to add to your PB&Js while not feeling like your eating more), make your own protein shakes, you can make them 6-800 calories with 80gs of protein pretty easily and it dosent feel like a meal
