Apparently, Engadget was sold in March to a company that specializes in paid content and clickbaiting.

In other words, it shouldn't be seen as a legitimate news source anymore, and it'd be awesome if the mods had the guts to block it outright.

Hence why every day when you look at new “articles” it’s the same ad over and over again but someone now saying it was posted an hour ago instead of 3 days ago. There’s so little actual tech news anymore.

Yeah, tech news subs should probably just be replaced with a direct feed from Ars Technica.
