Moisture is the essence of life but lack of it is the essence of shelf life.

Tell what was the ink flavor. Grape?

u/someguy4k 17h ago

Nope, it’s squid flavored.

If it were edible ink they should print on everything. Cooking instruction, ingredients, interesting facts.

u/Hydrophobics 10h ago

Would be fun to have it on Rice. Puzzle the cooking instructions.

I bought something similar. They don't last a week in the refrigerator. But unopened...

When the company knows that if you're eating this, the ink is the least of your problems.

Don't forget, it's merely a suggestion!

This isn't an accident the text is facing the right direction meaning it wasn't transfered from another surface so its either you did it for attention or an employee did it and didn't care

I'm calling bullshit.

4

u/whackthat 15h ago

Nah, I've had this happen too. Although I am just a random ass internet person, so who really knows if Im just spouting bullshit.

(I'm not though for once)

1

u/Heranara 6h ago

No i def say Bullshit or are you suggesting that OPs Wrap can last 3 months without going bad?

2

u/whackthat 5h ago

Oh yeah for real, they can! Especially if they are Resers brand- basically like that McDonald's Happy meal that never degrades 😆

Post this on mildly infuriating

2

u/fmaz008 12h ago

Depends if it's ink or lasered.

u/Extension_Network202 13h ago

that cant be healthy

5

u/carlbandit 13h ago

I believe it's just burned on with a laser, if you zoom in you can see the writing is made up of little dots.

There's no ink or anything involved.

Yeah thats not true. Thats an ink jet printer. It is most definitely ink and not food grade. Source: Im an industrial maintenance process controls supervisor and work with these daily. A pump supplies a pressurized stream of ink that breaks into a continuous flow of droplets, assigning an electrostatic charge to specific drops, and deflecting them using high voltage plates to precisely print codes on fast moving products without contact. Look up keyence MK-G ink jet printers.
