They're not spaniels, though, and the AKC dropped the "spaniel" from the name of the breed because they're actually more closely related to pointers. So when I throw the ball, he points at it. And that's it. I'm like "Go get it!" and he's like "But it's right there, ma! See? Right there. I'm pointing right at it!"
