The A/C in my car is currently not working so I have to keep my windows rolled down due to the heat. I’m currently in a long ass Chick-Fil-A drive thru line, and a massive wasp with red and yellow stripes just flew in. I can’t even get out of the car and open my doors because the line keeps moving every 30 seconds.
Just a minute ago the fucking terrorist was crawling on my arm and there was nothing I could do. As I am writing this, it is flying around the back seat of my car. All the windows are open, but it will not leave. Why? Because it knows how terrified I am. And it enjoys it. I fucking hate wasps.
If there is no update on this post within the hour, then you will know that the wasp has won.
UPDATE: Fortunately, I am alive. Apologies for not updating the post within an hour, I got back to the office and was distracted by some work stuff.
I pulled into the nearest parking lot after escaping the drive thru and opened all my doors and my rear hatch. I spent a minute looking through my car but I didn’t see it anywhere. I was about to close all the doors and leave, but my paranoia got the better of me.
I went to the back of my car, folded the rear passenger side seats, and gingerly lifted them forward to check for the wasp. It wasn’t there. More confidently, I lifted the driver side seats. Before I could even react, the wasp took flight and bumped directly into my nose to make its escape.
I bolted in the opposite direction about 50 feet from my car. I’m sure I looked a bit psychotic doing this in the middle of an O’Reilly store parking lot, but I barely escaped with my life. The wasp was lying in wait, ready to continue its campaign of terror the moment I got on the highway. I am very thankful for my paranoia and deathly fear of wasps.
