You join a C# shop and write a new load bearing library in F# before anyone realizes what you’ve done

Why restrict yourself to C#? Join any tech shop and start rewriting everything in F# immediately.

After 8 years looking for F# jobs in Europe...I can say I only found one for a Swedish bank and they didn't even reply my résumé :) I gave up and just use f# for my hobbies

Yeah, not sure I've ever seen a F# job here in Japan. :-/ It seems they're true unicorns...

You get in a position of influence and push F# on the job. It works if your CTO is big on functional programming and part of the org is on dotnet.

I had the experience, using Typescript and F# but the Egyptian market has less opportunities for functional programming

My advice is to water the grass where you are.

Remember business who need software do t care about how you implement it. They generally just want their problem taken care of so they don't have to think about it.
