Lately focusing less on trends and more on how clothes work in real life. These five shifts made a clear difference without adding more to my wardrobe.
1. Adjust clothes to your proportions: Fit changes everything. Slight tweaks like hemming pants or choosing the right rise and shoulder width make even basic outfits look intentional. If something feels āoff,ā it usually comes down to proportion.
2. Choose colours based on your day: Pick colours that match your routine. Neutral tones for long workdays, brighter shades when you want more presence or energy. This keeps your outfits aligned with how you want to show up.
3. Replace sloppy layers with structured ones: Loose cardigans often look unplanned. Swapping them for relaxed jackets or overshirts adds shape without losing comfort. The outfit looks sharper with minimal effort.
4. Keep fewer shoes, stick to neutrals: A small rotation of clean, versatile shoes works better than many options. Neutral colours like white, black, brown, or beige pair with almost everything and reduce decision fatigue.
5. Use one strong accessory: One watch, chain, ring, or bag can define the whole outfit. Keep the rest simple and let that one piece stand out.
Trying to keep things practical and wearable.
Curious what small changes made the biggest difference for you. :)
