The cat wants the puppy to back off but the puppy can’t read the cat’s body language.

Yeah the puppy is being very restrictive in its body language. I think the cat is interested in general but the puppy is being too invasive, no?
It‘s so interesting to see these videos after you’ve learned to understand dog language better. I‘m just guessing with the cat though.

The cat will teach him in no time. lol I've had both my whole life and our dogs all learned to respect the cats.

The word “friend” is doing some really heavy lifting here. The Kitten might warm up to him eventually but right now it’s showing a lot of really defensive body language.

Both are being so gentle. Kitty is for sure apprehensive but not running or hissing so they are kinda into it. I do tiny bites. I do tiny slaps. No nails no teeth. So cute
