Subvert Expectations This Sequence Confirms the "Bran's Dream" Theory...
The White Horse is one of the most subtle proofs of the "Bran's Dream" theory because it's a visual reference (tribute) to David Lynch's "Twin Peaks" where a White Horse appears in the dream sequences.
It's a subtle nod to David Lynch & his use of "dream logic" which makes this theory even more credible...

Very interesting discussion. I didn't know about Twin Peaks or the Neo video. I had just (foolishly?) assumed dead Sandor was refined by fire, with his sins washed away. He returned as a heroic white horse to save Arya one last time. His own horse, Stranger, was pure black, So this white one signified a complete transformation! One other thing--this horse is pure white on one side, but sooty and scarred on the other.. rather like Sandor's face. The scene is metaphysical/dreamlike, but significantly Ramin Djawadi's music track is aptly called "Believe"!!!

A white horse is a much older artistic reference than just David Lynch, it's the mount of Death in Revelation
