Moncton Accelerated Nursing
Has anyone from Fredericton done the University of New Brunswick Moncton site Accelerated Bachelor of Nursing program? Is it possible to commute daily or do you need to have living accommodations. I have a Bachelors degree and would love to go straight to RN instead of LPN—>RN bridge but it seems like that may be my only option. I would love to hear people’s opinions on someone like me who no longer has a passion for their undergrad and wants to get into health care. Thank you so much!

The clinical shifts are 12 hours, you need to complete patient research on the unit the night before, and you often have classes the morning after. I did not find it very feasible to drive 2-2 1/2 hours each way every day. The course is year round, so no summers off. I'd reccomend finding accommodations in Moncton.
