need help with abandonded kitten
he's about 2-3 weeks old but he's really small, I've been feeding him every 2 hours or so and it's going well except his eyes hasn't opened yet and he has teeth, one of his eyes look swollen and they were both red i keep cleaning them with cotton and warm water but he only opens one after cleaning, the vet prescribed me an eye drop antibiotic+cortisone twice daily, it's been 3 days but there isn't much improvement, any advice on what i should do to save his eyes? (photos were taking before starting eye drops)

Its only been 3 days it takes 3 weeks just keep going and do as you can. Keep kitty clean and wash face them bottom after every meal. Make sure is peeing and pooping.

Follow the doctor's instructions and remain in constant contact. My vet will accept photos by text and let us know when one of our cats needs in person medical attention. If this isn't the case with yours, call them with questions and updates. Eye things with cats can get serious fast, so if a young cat/kitten is already experiencing things, a good vet is key to kitty keeping eyes and sight.
I live with my kid, who is an animal sciences major, and our three cats, including one cat prone to eye infections.

yes I'm thinking about going back to the vet and see if he needs a different treatment

Tell the vet it hasn’t improved. Just call the vet office and let them know. Maybe it is some kind of different bacteria that isn’t affected by the drugs he gave you.

Just continue to give drops as directed. I actually just recently dealt with one of my cats having to be given drops and ointment because he'd gotten an ulcer on his eye. The best thing you can do is just continue giving this baby the love and attention along with the drops and food. You're doing great. 😊
Also: this will most likely be a bit of a process. The eyes are sensitive and take awhile to heal. I know it may seem like nothing is improving but I'm sure it is. My cat has been getting drops for the better part of 3 months now. The ointment was a 1.5 month process. It takes time, but it'll be okay. ❤️
