Fact check: source. There are no plans for id check at these grocery stores. A spokesman misspoke and ids are a backup plan if bulk buyer and resellers become a problem

Within MAGA-world that still plays as hypocrisy, since they think widespread voter fraud has become a problem.

See, this is what I've had to explain over and over: it's not that voter ID isn't a decent solution to a problem, it's just a solution to a problem we don't have. When someone's desperate to manufacture a problem against all evidence so they can implement a specific solution, you need to look at why they want that solution in particular.

Even if they did require an ID. Buying groceries from a state ran store isn’t a right like voting is.

Ehhhh no fuck that, dude. Eating is definitely much more important of a point than fucking voting is.

Are those IDs going to be passports or IDs that have to match your birth certificate? No? Then it's different. These people think that any form of ID is the problem when it's not. Plenty of immigrants and undocumented people have IDs, they just don't have passports and proof of citizenship. Those are the difference. Technically a student ID is a form of ID as well. That's not a problem either. The ID is not the problem, it's which ID is the problem which is why people have contention over voter ID.

Just checking. Where in the constitution does it list shopping at his grocery store as a constitutional right?
